without pulling out a stat book, i think lundqvist's playoff #'s are decent. the TEAM always folds, and you can't ask your goalie to win you a best of 7 series, when you are only going to score 10 goals an entire 7 game round.
not terrible and his first playoff appearance was shit because he was suffering from severe migraines and weekes actually played the majority of that series versus the devils. i think lundqvist was pulled twice in that series if my memory serves me right.
It doesn't matter what excuses you wanna make he doesn't carry a team when it counts

You are correct, right now Bryz has zero confidence and it shows. He cannot come up with any big saves right now, none. Is he a better goalie than this, absolutely.
As for the Rangers, I have been impressed with their play this year. Torterella finally has them playing a solid system and everyone(including forwards) are buying in. Lunqvist is a top talent in net, and the defensive system in front of him is helping him a lot more this year. The Rags dont have top name talent on the back end(aside from Staal), but they are all believing in the system. This is the exact opposite of what the Flyers are doing by the way. Injuries aside, the defense is sloppy and forwards seem too concerned in scoring goals.
Lets all remember though, its still the regular season. What really matters most is how a team is playing come playoff time and how they carry that play into the first round. The season the Flyers squeaked into the playoffs on that shoot out win over the Rangers, they got hot at the right time and just took off until the Cup final.
Anything can happen.

Sprinkled among the 4-game slaughter last year was one game that Tim Thomas stole (I was there at Game 2) so at least the Flyers figured him out a little bit maybe. Obviously our only hope is the Breeze figures it out by April. Bob simply spends too much time down on the ice. :roll: Flyers need just adequate goaltending to beat most Eastern teams, but need great goaltending to beat Boston.

florida annoucers were saying during the game, philly doesn't practice shootouts. could be part of the reason they suck in them. they also commented, philly should be in the playoffs and you don't have shootouts there.
