WOW, BUT WHY SIGN CLEMONS THEN U KNOW. ALLEN IS A MONSTER THOUGH COLE AND HIM WITH BUNK AND PATTERSON WOULD BE JUST FINE WITH ME
yea u wouldn't sign clemons. that would be an impressive dline. but what about the O, i hope they remember that they couldn't score touchdowns last year.
Eagles signed Asante Samuel to a six-year contract.
A report earlier in the day said Samuel was set to make roughly $47.2 million over five, so perhaps they added a dummy year. The key is the first three years and Samuel probably will make $10 million per-year over that time. We think Samuel is only a borderline Pro Bowler, but his gambling nature matches up well with Jim Johnson's pressure defense. Feb. 29 - 4:59 pm et

Eagles agreed to terms with former Oakland DE/OLB Chris Clemons, according to NFL Network's Adam Schefter.
It might already be a done deal, but that's not confirmed. Clemons had eight sacks while playing only 37% of Oakland's snaps last year. Mar. 1 - 2:35 pm et

A source tells the Trenton Times that the Eagles and Cardinals had talks about a trade that would send Larry Fitzgerald to Philadelphia.
The source called Arizona's asking price "absurd." The Birds should consider courting D.J. Hackett. Having played for Mike Holmgren, he'd have a good grasp of the offense Andy Reid runs and could add size and downfield ability. Mar. 2 - 9:43 pm et

Anyone else think the Queens paid way too much for Bernard Berrian? They're giving a guy, who has had a mediocre career, $16 million in guaranteed money? I see his upside, but I really don't think this signing will pay off. At least it makes the Bears even worse!
The Birds are really trying to improve their football team, something huge is gonna happen. "Stay tuned", said McNabb on espn the other day. Can you say OCHO CINCO

Damn, that would have been a helluva offseason if we got him !
Maybe draft day we'll pull a trade for a wideout

Jets have had the best free agency of anyone. just added two more today. Calvin Pace and Damien Woody along with Faneca and Jenkins. So far some solid signings. Going to be a completely different team next year, except for our sissy armed QB.

we offered him more money than the pats!!!
go out and give the cards your first rounder plus lito and lets win the MOTHER FUCKING SUPER BOWL ALREADY!!!

According to an announcement posted on what appears to be his personal web site, Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald has agreed to a four-year, $40 million contract with the team.
Fitzgerald's site says that he'll get $30 million guaranteed, and $33 million over the next three years.
He had been scheduled to earn more than $14 million in salary in 2008 and more than $17 million in salary in 2009 based on eight-figure escalators for which he qualified based on his performance during the first four years of his career.
The deal also supposedly contains a clause that permits Fitzgerald to block any trade without his consent (which protects him from being traded to one of the really bad franchises . . . like the one he currently plays for).
