Your Job In A Nutshell

In a sentence or two TOPS, describe the basic nature of your job in simple terms.
Here is mine:
A printer prints up bills with food items on them and I cook what is asked by the bill. Also, I prep food to ensure that these orders can be completed.
Day in and day out.

Halfwits who are also often arseholes of the very highest order call me when they have problems with their mobile phones and i try and help them.
My 4 years working hard at university sure paid off.People say im paranoid. Well, they dont say it, but i know that's what they are thinking.0 -
assistant to a plant molecular biologist and serve as outreach coordinator focusing on agricultural biotechnology. design educational materials, displays, kick idiot asses in our department on a daily basis0

People with mental health problems get referred to my company, i do an intake assessment, if they need services i link them with some of my staff and/or a therapist and/or a psychiatrist then i assist them in all facets of the mental health system, do home visits, etc, until they can function on their own or Medicaid decides to stop paying0

I pick a little boy up from school around 3:30pm, and play games/watch movies/do an hour of tutoring, until around 8pm. I also do about 10 hours a week of charity work during that time, itemizing clothing/toys/linens for donation for tax purposes, errands, and staff management.0

I hot roast Peanuts in 100 plus year old machines, hand dip Chocolates and cook assorted Nuts, sell them in my store along with assorted Candy. Oh, and I am the taste tester.Get em a Body Bag Yeeeeeaaaaa!

I go to different venues and re-heat food already prepared by other people and boss my subordinates to get the food out. Sometimes I make the food too.0

Well the charity work is part of my job. The woman I work for is involved in a ton of charity work, and I handled the Salvation Army portion of her work. I feel like they know me there at this point. The must wonder when I show up week after week with 20 million things to donate. It's inspiring though, I've actually donated everything extra in my house as a result of seeing how much a difference it can make to the people in the city.

therapist at a college counseling center - specializing in working with victims of sexual assault, sexual abuse and domestic violence. I do crisis and long term therapy specifically geared to those issues (but also on every other issue a college student experiences - anxiety, depression, relationship problems, etc etc etc) and present workshops to student groups and academic classes.There's a light when my baby's in my arms0

I coordinate/manage labour, materials, equipment and contracts for a construction outfit...I fight over money on the phone, reply to endless emails, attend meetings and seminars, and try not to be too distracted by the steady stream of floaters hanging around the water cooler/coffee and washrooms next to my office.0

I write lines (and lines and lines...) of code that eventually turn into an application that is used by an Internet browser on my companies Intranet. I also write statements for those applications that inserts/updates/deletes information from a SQL Server database.0
