Well I'm screwed if it is.
Oh wait! That's right!! I don't care!
When in August are you going to be 29 Indian? My birthday is in August and I've got a decade on you and I've never been married. Almost made a couple of HUGE mistakes but almosts don't count anyway.
Why don't you just focus on enjoying your life and live it like you won't get married? I mean if you don't, what are you planning to do?
Learn to make your life the best life all on your own with the view to always being on your own that way if someone comes along that you want to marry it's a bonus and if not well you've already got an awesome life.
Oh and don't be worrying too much about what other people think you should have done by now, I get that all the time. Apparently once a woman reaches a certain age she's supposed to have been married at least once and spat out a coupla kids otherwise there's something wrong with her. This is something I had NO CLUE about until I started getting into the age group where it starts to happen. All I can say is I'm SOOOOO grateful I never married and had kids so far. Just be thankful you're not a woman, because people start making ticking sounds at you! :eek:NOPE!!!

Have you thought of a Russian Mail Order/Internet Bride?
I have a friend who is butt ugly and he did this. Believe it or not the marriage is already 5 years old and still going... I told him it was a scam, but it actually worked out. I'd say do the following:
1) Create a Yahoo Account
2) Go to the Personals
3) Take a nice pic and write about yourself and place an ad in the personals
4) Shop around the meat market
5) Send emails out and feelers
6) Profit.0 -

let me come clear and see what the responses are going to be now.
the reason why i never was on a date was that i was too fucking ugly to ever get one. i have had reconstructive surgery twice and now barely look presentable, certainly not good. and my confidence level is as low as ever. i just cant handle girls.
i hope to be getting by degree this september and then a small job. it would take be 2-3 years to become good/permanent at my job. by then i will be 32.
added : oh and by then i will be virtually placed outside the indian marriage market. few indian girls would want to marry a 32-33 year old.I have faced it, A life wasted...

Nope, but I thought it had disaster written all over that marriage. I guess I was wrong. But if I were you, I would do the match.com or yahoo personal thing. There are a ton of chicks to meet that way. I have another friend who does this and let's just say he likes to shop and test out the goods.0 -

And I think you answered your own question (well I hope not) cos you know more about Indian culture than (I'm guessing) most of us who've answered here :(The Astoria??? Orgazmic!

If that's the case, surely you can worry less about the job/money side of things. Not suggesting that all Indian women are money grabbers but maybe a steady income is higher on a list of attributes? So you can stop worrying about that for starters.0 -
Not too late at all... I married at 32. It also helped that my wife was 23 at the timeMy whole life

Gotcha.
Someone else had a similar post a few months back and I typed up a pretty good response. Let me see if I can find it b/c I don't know if I have those words in me at the moment.
Edit: Okay, found it. This guy was going through a divorce, so ignore the "ex" stuff. However, the fundamentals are the same, as far as your depression, self-esteem, and wanting to get through it to a better place.

well thanks fanch and mattcameronkicksbutt.
i guess my original question should have been, would any woman be likely to want to marry a 32-33 year old who has had aesthetic surgery. i know very few indian girls would.
but if thinks work out well for me, i should be in australia by 30-31.I have faced it, A life wasted...
