    In regards to the comments about the mods here, I think they are very cool. There are too many whiny people here lately and people that start threads that just draw attention to themselves. Does there really HAVE to be a dozen threads where the same group of 5 people respond over and over again? Maybe thats why threads get locked or deleted.

    Besides, there's at least 10 people that could be described that way, not 5. Be fair now.

    There's a difference between looking for sympathy and venting. Sometimes I'd rather lumber the people here with my more trivial problems than my friends because I'm well aware that my friends have their own shit to worry about. At least here people can just ignore you if they aren't interested which is fine. You, for example, don't have to respond to anything I say.

    It's nothing to with being comforted by a talking, present person. Do you never just want to vent about things until you feel a little better? Or do you just hit the bottle/a wall with your fist?

    Yes, I understand what you're saying red and I am much the same however I think what happened here was an escalation of insults, something that perhaps should have been adjudicated earlier and offensive posts deleted before it developed to where it did.

    I mean in real life even if you do get into a disagreement with someone and they do say something highly offensive about your family, depending on the person, you may still manage to negotiate your way around the argument and remain friends. We don't get non verbal cues here. And people still do lose their tempers. It's a different way of communicating and we can't all, always remember how to do it correctly.
