Mine would be Oliver Cromwell... or Dickens.

Listen to a Beatles album post-1966, every lame song you hear every now and then, you can almost guarantee it is a McCartney one.     Can I name someone else who really isn't a historical figure but someone I wouldn't mind 'fighting' with anyway? Thanks.

    you can, just this once ;) He is a twat. I didn't name McCartney in my original post because even he doesn't count. Neither does Cheney really, even though I'd love to give him a good kicking. They don't necessarily have to be dead to qualify as my intention for the thread but they have to be pretty damn significant :)
