Why do I (or any other guy) get really nervous when talking to a hott girl?

Like...I have hott friends that are girls and we just talk and laugh and I'm fine. But why is there nothing to talk about when you meet a girl whos gorgeous and extremely nice? Not just that, but why do we get nervous and all the sudden its like 30 degrees warmer in the room.

    hott girls are so not my thing, to fake and all. give me a cute nerdy girl anyday of the week

    why assume a 'hott' girl is fake? some girls/women just really ARE, with little to no effort...truly HOT. same with men.


    and as already mentioned, b/c you're interested in them! that simple. men and women, we fumble and falter some when in the presence of someone we truly find 'hot'...attractive...interesting. ya know, basically anyone who you may want to jump their bones. :D

    It's simple... we are scouring our memory banks looking for a way to say, "I want to fuck you"... and actually having a chance that it'll happen.
    Problems is... we have extremely limited vocabularies and the mouth can't act on it's own as the brain frantically searches for the words.

    cause most i've come across cant hold a convo for then 5 minutes and just want the attention cause of there looks and for me to like them. i love a girl thats real and smart and can hold a convo.theres nothing better then talking to a girl for 4 hours and enjoying it.yes it does work both ways that i'll agree with

    well yes a cute nerdy girl is hot in my opinon. but i think the op was talking bout the typical blonde hair, big boobs, nice ass type of girl. i hate labels to. but society and hollywood has made us categorise things sadly enough

    Use Humor to point to the fact that you're nervous. It will break the ice a bit.

    because conciously and subconciously, we are worried that we might look funny, or do or say something that will jeopardize our chances of getting sex from a hot woman. Even though its just an everyday encounter and sex is not part of the equation (most of the time).
