I have my opinions about what kind of games i dont like and like, forget the status bullshit you mention. As nintendo seems to host a lot of these childlike games, it doesnt 'kick ass' as the thread title claims. In my opinion obviously.
I'll agree that nintendo paid closer attention to younger gaming audiences in the past but clearly, they are changing their policies about that. Even with the gamecube they started to branch out to the older crowd with Metal gear solid, resident evil, call of duty and even more so with the wii supporting Manhunt (which is a infamously violent game, being described as a snuff film) scarface...so forth. So now it seem that instead of just appealing to a young audience, nintendo now has something to offer everyone, covering all ages and maturity.0 -
by the way, the legendary version of halo 3 is going to cost $129 dollars. The case is a spartan helmet replica and it comes with two bonus disks.
129 bucks is fucking crazy!0 -

I have had a 360 since launch, but just picked up a wii last week strictly to be able to play Legend of Zelda again. I was pleasently suprised how fun the wii sports is. First thing was to dl'd all 4 old Zelda games from the vc. It took me about 8 hours to complete the first one and about 13 hours to finish part two, which I had never beat before. Now on to the snes link to the past(the last one I have played and last Nintendo I owned). Trying to play through them in order, apparently Ocrina of Time is the best one but I've never played it, now if Majora's Mask would be released on the virtual console soon and I can find a copy of Wind Waker the collection will be complete. Can't wait to get to Twilight Princess to see how the game takes advantage of the Wii controls.Seems the more you make

My sister and I took over the Wii on Sat. and boxed all night long. Our friends were highly amused, as were we. It was so much fun, and actually...a pretty great work out. Haha!
I'm not a fan of video games...but I have to admit that the Wii does kick so much ass.0 -

Twilight Princess = Amazing.
Super Paper Mario = Insanely fun and innovative as hell.
Wii Sports = Such a blast. A pack-in game that still remains one of the best for the whole console.
I don't see how Nintendo can lose this particular console war. If you are any kind of a gamer or just a human being with joy in your soul the Wii rules all!
I just picked mine up a few days ago and I'm SO addicted. I've been glued to golf...a friend and I played last night and it was a lot of fun. I still need to play Zelda, Paper Mario and Mario Party 8, but can't stop with the golf! This system is AWESOME and I love how interactive it is. Good times. We’ll meet again, but not yet…not yet.0 -
