    I'm in the similar situation. I'll be going mac. 15"; 512GB SSD, 16GB.

    no. i have had a macbook for the last 6 years. haven't been able to download anything since 2009. it's horrible.

    personally I hate Apple products. Just the way I organize my files and music files and such, as well as update the metadata.... Apple makes it into a format/file that doesnt work well with any non-apple product, CPU, phone, etc. Cant stand that,

    Dell computers kinda suck too

    What can't you download? I've had a macbook pro for past 3 years and have never had issues downloading anything.

    Try upgrading the RAM on your dell.
    I upgraded my RAM and my hard drive on my 8 year old dell for about $200 and it really improved performance. Getting a new hard drive got rid of all the junk that had accumulated on the C: drive.
