another way is chromium picolinate. google it, but you may see negative comments about it. I've used it for short periods and it works. Not sure if it causes cancer. You can buy it at cvs, the grocery store, etc.

The best way for me to help suppress the appetite is to eat every 2 hours. I start the day with an egg white omelette(3 egg whites, one whole egg, meats and veggies) which has maybe 200 calories in it and it's very filling. Then every two hours I have something whether it's carrots or cereal or cottage cheese, it's something in my belly. Plus I have lunch and dinner. When I have a craving, I eat it. Usually, I get those sweettooth cravings if I don't start my day with the egg white omelette.

i did my honours thesis on the relationship between appetite, food intake, and the GI tract.. fascinating stuff
following a low-GI diet has shown potential for some.. hard to resist the 'bad' foods though
