    I took a riding lessson today....first time I've been on a horse in 18 months! My horse was euthanized about a year ago, I hadn't been riding for several months before that. Damn I missed it!!!!! I probably won't be able to walk tomorrow but....I don't care!
    believe it or not, we don't "need" anything. that is only the spoiled brat in us trying to fill some temporary solution to an emptyness that does not exist.

    It made my day to see my girlfriend's face on a webcam. I'm finishing up a deployment and have so many pictures and letters we exchange but I dont get to talk to her as much as I'd like to. My friend let me use his webcam to talk to my girlfriend and when I told her it was me online her face lit up with such a beautiful smile. I still smile when I think about it.
