    My son finally got his cast off his broken arm after 5 months!!!
    I feel like he can finally take a real shower!

    Well, he was in a cast (not the same one) for 5 months. He broke his arm the first day of summer. Thought he was healed and the cast would come off in September but a follow up Xray showed that he REBROKE the arm INSIDE THE CAST! ugh..........

    Our office had a thing for charity this morning. So started with a fresh waffle topped with fruit and whipped cream. YUM!! :D

    Yesterday, having a meeting with an amazing psychologist to talk about how my condition, Hydrocephalus, has affected my work.. and the reasons why.

    It was pretty amazing to be able to talk to someone who understands the brain in a much richer way than me, and someone who can recognise the reasons why I struggle with what I struggle with, AND articulate exactly why.

    Until now, that's not something I've been able to do very well. It's allowed me to not be so down on what I find difficult and to concentrate on my strengths.

    So I am on somewhat of a high today :D

    The worst thing is that Hydrocephalus receives very little press and too many people have never heard of it. At worst, people think I'm making it up when I tell them of some of the side effects.

    Escaping from the cold and rain into a coffee shop for a maple syrup latte, just sitting down to drink it and hearing Ed's voice over the speakers singing Society :) It was quiet, the place was empty and he was singing just for me :)

    Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

    ... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

    Not much until I got a visit from someone who always manages to brighten my day just by being around
    All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

    They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all
