It's been forever since I've thought about the Zwik....I know he played in Europe for a while after graduating, but don't know if he's still playing.

and Neil Fingleton was a joke and waste of 7'6"

Forte wasn't ready to go pro then. I thought he was making the biggest mistake of his life at that time. When you hate your coach, but don't want to transfer, there's not much else you can do.

and when you're player of the year... your stock doesn't get much higher

he wasn't going to get taller ... that's for sure

    how is that more spice?

and why would celtics haters be in this thread?

    wow

Yeah. He's no longer the 'Big Ticket'.

He's Kevin 'I'm gonna carry this team to a conference championship' Garnett.

At least, that's what i'm praying for.

They play here vs the Clippers on Feb 25, and the Lakers on Dec 30.

Soon as indiv. game tickets go on sale, i'm all over that shit.

Fuck dude! I didn't see that!

It MAY not be a bad thing... if he can still find his shot, it'd be some nice instant offense off the bench, and he could stretch defenses if/when the big 3 are on the floor...

Nice, hard-nosed banger. This team is going from one of the league's softest, to one of the toughest overnight.

I'm slightly intrigued by the Reggie Miller thing. Clearly he thinks the Celts can get a title, otherwise he'd never come back, but what's he got left?
Love him or hate him, he's as clutch a shooter as we've seen in recent years, just ask Spike Lee.

THe only way someone like him him would come out of retirement is to win a championship. Now that we have a championship team he can even be a bench player and be part of the win. Im not sure how i feel about him coming to the celts

Welcome back to the NBA, Celtics fans. You've missed some cool stuff the last few years while your team was sucking.

I don't know if Reggie can still play but if he can, what a great shooter off the bench.

And Lou, I don't think the C's are in any position to turn down anybody with as much clutch and playoff experience as Reggie. But again, that's only if he can still play.

it's making it very hard to get tix so far... it sucks

i'm surprised those greedy bastards didn't raise prices right before the garnett signing

check ebay... it's stupid how much c's stuff is out there

how can it be welcome back when i've never gone anywhere?

reggie can suck my left nut... he had a lucky game against the knicks in NY and ever since then it's assumed he's clutch and whatnot

well if he's so clutch then why did his teams never win ANYTHING?

he's a good shooter... that's all I will say... he's also a chucker... sure it helps when he makes a high percentage... but he's old now

what i see is a flopper and a cheat... imagine how much flopping and grabbing he'll do now as an old man!

oh and... the knicks thread on here is sad... first post talks abotu the C's twice and the Magic once... i would reply in there but they don't deserve me ;)

i also love how everyone is running with this "weakest bench in the league" argument

like you wouldn't take the C's top 3

    can't wait for the season

Wait. Single game tix are not yet even on sale. Buying form ebay or a broker right now is akin to bending over buck nekkid in P-town with a tube ky strapped to your ass.

Garnett retired, Celts have to pay his full salary from the extension and take the cap hit, and Ray Allen's ankle gave out, Doctor Nick says 86-90 weeks of rest should do it. Other than that not much.
