I hope so. It's been fun having the C's not suck.
yeah not just "The New Big 3" but G.Davis, Rondo, and the other players have cohesively performed well like a real contending team.

with all this talk about the Lakers and the Western Conference, people are forgetting who has the best records in the league, Boston and Detroit.

BTW, since 2003, the Finals champions have been the Spurs in odd years, and two different Eastern teams in even years: '03, '05' & '07 the Spurs were champs while '04 and '06 rings went to Detroit and Miami.

If the trend keeps up it'll be a new Eastern team in '08; The Celtics baby! We can do it!
hey, man... don't dog on my spurs. they're looking a lot like they were last year... but this time ginobili's off da hook dude.

  • I think it's a wide open race this year. Several teams can claim to be legit contenders. So it should be fun, and like I said it's pretty cool the Celtics are back.

I love the C's bench. Hopefully they'll continue to improve as we hit the stretch.

Sam Cassell should be a big help off the bench, they were operating without a true point guard when Rondo sat down.

This whole buyout/signing by Cassell and the Celtics reeks of desperation on both sides. I hope it works out for you guys.

    Go Lakers.

I think getting the Martian will definitely help the Cs. The guy is a stone baller with an absolutely killer instinct in pressure situations. The only problem I see is sharing the ball in those last-second chances. Pierce wants it, Cassell wants it. Should be an interesting final couple of months. I would say, "Go Bulls!" but what's the point? We stink (again).

i personally dont think that the celtics could beat detroit in a 7 game series. however, i am rooting very hard for a lakers celtics championship. that would be great for the game of basketball.

with the lakers lineup i'd think it wouldn't be as exciting. i'm hoping a spurs and celtics finals.

i personally don't think lakers have a legitimate chance... but i'm sure they will next year... especially once bynum's back.

don't know... i'm usually right about these feelings. like i knew new orleans would eventually lose their no. 1 spot in their division to the spurs. i just feel lakers need at least a season or offseason to be legitimate in the playoffs. i'm sure they'll pass to the 2nd round and maybe 3rd round. i also feel they need one more guy... and that might be bynum.

The Celtics are doing a lot better than those sorry Knicks and underachieving Nets.

The new season officially starts next Tuesday, October 28th.

The C's host the Cavs in Boston. Reigning champs return to repeat again for their 18th title.

posey's transfer is a big loss to the celtics rotation. he is an energizer offensively & defensively off the bench.

who now replaces posey? i don't think they added something to their lineup in the offseason.

Darius Miles was added in the pre-season but was cut before the start of the regular season.

The team looks the same but the bench is playing more minutes. Tony Allen and Powe have been good off the bench so far.

Perkins had a nice game tonight with 15 and 12

The team is 16-2. So not big difference without Posey.
