I did't personally author the list. So go bark up someone elses tree about it....i was merely trying to create some dialouge.

The U of M i'm sure has a lot of scumbags playing for them too.....just not as many. Its also a more respected academic institution in a more academic minded college town. I've been to both towns......the difference is unbelievable.

    http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=1920867

That Youngstown stuff is all pre clarrett.

I think its pretty clear that tressell is the schmuck....lets just call a spade a spade here and enjoy the game. ITs all entertainment to me. It doesn't hurt my enjoyment of the game that OSU is dirty as hell.......... I just thought it was worth pointing out.

yes, u of m has a stronger academic reputation but osu is rapidly gaining ground there. ann arbor is a tiny liberal hippy college town. you cannot compare its atmosphere to the atmosphere of a mjaor urban campus. it makes no sense. to imply that ohio state students don't care as much about academics is ridiculously unfounded. work hard, play hard.

ill check out the youngstown article. but i dont think tressel is dirty. ive met him, and he's a true gentleman. anybody in a national spotlight can be condemned due to circumstantial evidence and people seem to loathe ohio state for some reason... they have ever since they knocked off miami for the national championship. furthermore, ive known a lot of die hard michigan fans and you are the only person ive ever spoken to who dislikes tressel. anyone else ive ever known who hates ohio state will admit that they feel tressel is a class act and doing a great job of trying to clean up their program.

Maurice Clarrett doesn't help you rep either soulsinging. I also like Tressel, I think he is a good person who cares about his students and wants them to succeed in life (with or without football).
There's no I in team, but there's me.

yeah, clarrett was a huge embarassment and i think he kinda became associated with the program too much becos he was so controversial. it's a shame. nobody at ohio state tried to make excuses for him and we were all happy to see him leave.

He pissed me off so much. I watched the Miami/Ohio St. game and he was unbelievable, everyone I was watching the game with thought he was going to be something special.....what a waste. I think he had to many people telling how great he was and not enough people telling and/or showing him how to grow up and be a man.

Trust me, there are plenty of Michigan fans who dislike tressel and think he has a suspicious cloud hanging over him.

He has built Ohio State into a fantastic football program there is no doubt about it. That in itself is quite impressive......Cooper ALWAYS choked against Michigan and it seems Tressell has given them that killer instinct.

I'm sure he cares about his players and wants them to succeed, what coach doesn't. Lloyd cares jsut as much....he just has a more tough love approach. He dares underachievers to transfer, pushes the papers in their faces.........many have stayed and gone on to be great plaeyrs. That builds character. But all coaches want to build character..it helps them WIN. And i'm sure they do a lot of things to help their team win.

Obviously I can't prove anything but if i was a betting man I would palce my wager in the "tressel has known far more than he ever let on about any of the scandals during his coachign career." He's the Gordon Gekko of coaching in my opinion.
