God, i can barely hold it together waiting for this game. The big game has gotten way bigger!! Can't wait to watch Michigan (hopefully) dominate O$U!!

    No way Michigan gets destroyed! O$U hasn't gone against a good offensive opponent all year, their defense is overhyped. Hart gets 135 yards and a touchdown, Henne throws a couple bombs and michigan wins 24-17.

    I dont follow college football as much as I do NFL but I know OS barely got by IL. 17-10

    michigan gave up over 20 points to ball state. ohio state will score on them. the osu defense can hold its own. they might have a tough time containing hart, but i think they will get to henne and keep ellis and manningham in check. this year's game is going to be huge and it's going to be close. but i think ohio state has the edge here.

    then again, this rivalry is known for big upsets and season spoiling performances.

    in either case, whoever goes up against these teams in the national champsionhip is going to be humiliated ;)

    Yep. Overhyped. That's why they are the top scoring defense in the Big Ten. What's their points-off-turnover margin?

    Its the perfect scenario for it though, looking ashead to LSU and the SEC tite game, on the road, a supposed inferior opponent...Arkansas is the vastly superior team but these type of games are very dangerous.

    That's b/c O$U's gotten on top of teams early and has been able to sit on the pass for the majority of the game. Yeah they've got a great p.o.t. margin but how many of those games came against quality teams? They played a texas team that was still finding itself and didn't even play a vastly underrated wisconsin team. Sure you can look at teams that each has played and look at the point differentials in favor of O$U. That's mostly b/c they go after style points once the game is in hand. It'll definetely be a good, close game but there almost assuredely won't be a blow out as many are predicting.

    i'm so excited for this game i can't stand it. not only is the game going to be amazing but all of my friends who moved after graduation (we went to OSU) are coming back for the game. this city is going to be ridiculous this weekend. hopefully there won't be any riots, but unfortunately with the low maturity level of some OSU fans there may be. doesn't matter if we win or lose. go bucks:)

    Haha, i'd definetely agree w/ you on that. I watched a video about the 2002 pregame at Ohio State. Michigan fans' cars were getting trashed, fans were getting beat up... not a great place to be if you aren't in numbers.... and to no code.. yeah this is most likely the national championship game. i don't see anybody else in the country coming close to beating either of these teams.

    no shit. i have ohio plates but i'm staying on michigan avenue. so i may have to park elsewhere. but i hear they change or cover the signs this weekend.

    This is why I think OSU will win (and yeah, I'm biased but oh well):

    A) 4-1: Jim Tressel's record against Michigan and Lloyd Carr

    B) The Horseshoe - It's almost impossible for opposing teams to come into Ohio Stadium and win, much less against a number one ranked team. Michigan hasn't won in Columbus since 2000.

    C) Troy Smith, Anthony Gonzolas, and Ted Gynn Jr. - unstoppable offense will keep Michigan's defense on it's heels all day

    D) OSU defense is fast and opportunistic. If Michigan cannot establish the running game, it's going to be a long day for them

    E)Ann Arbor is a whore. Nuff said.
