There's always amputation. They say it's only itchy afterwards.

well, i don't want to do that lol

my dad was able to pick up some new meds for me from the doctor, tylenol with codeine. it's working REEEEEALLY well now. like wow

and to file under "wrong thing to say", this one douchebag at work yesterday stopped by to say hi and said 'oh so your artistic career is completely over now'. like if he meant it as a joke, it truly was NOT funny. he slinked off after i gave this WTF look at him. i dunno, just thought it was rude. didn't help it was hurting bad already

i cut my hand pretty bad last week (got 11 stitches) and when i went to the store to get some more gauze noticed these scar solution type dealies

    http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=68768&catid=722&brand=17888&trx=PLST-0-BRAND&trxp1=722&trxp2=68768&trxp3=1&trxp4=0&btrx=BUY-PLST-0-BRAND&cmbProdBrandFilter=17888

anybody tried these sort of things? recommendations? if the scar ends up being bad i'll be conjuring up a story about how i got into a fight with ninjas, but if can make it less gnarly that'd be good too!

I'm not sure if it's available where you are but ask your doctor about Acticoat Burn Dressings. It's made by a company called Nucryst Pharmaceuticals and distributed by Smith and Nephew. http://www.nucryst.com I used to work for them and I know a lot of people who have used the product with great success. It's not just for burns but takes care of scar tissue etc.

We jest, but because... well, we jest.
But some remarks made by some people can be so misplaced at times.

If he ever smashes his face into a tree, you can always tell him his modeling career is completely over now.

I will give you a heads up though. It will discolour your skin while you're using it to a silver/blackish colour. It is just like gauze really only it's silver coated thus causing the discolouration so don't worry about that!

Silver is the largest bacteria killer in the world and that's what allows your skin to recover so quickly and effectively. They say that's why royalty always live so long, it's because they are eating off/with silver all the time.

yeah it's like i have a decent sense of humor that can go dark sometimes, but it was just uncalled for. he's a bitch anyway so i wasn't all that surprised lol

Oh my goodness! Good luck! Take some tylenol before you go, to take some edge off of the pain?

In the future, watch out for those ninjas, will ya? ;)

welps the stitches are all out (it looks naaaaaaassssty EW). i have paper strips i can use to help seal it up more and a splint to keep my finger straight so it won't pull on the bigger cut. can't work for at least another week, ayy!

on the brigth side my boss and the rest of my coworkers sent me flowers :) really sweet. i got my vitamin E capsules today, started taking them and i'll be using it on the scar as soon as it's sealed up tight!
