it's one of the calmest places i've been to....the first time i went i was 8, and i remember as clear as day walking thru the town with my dad, and the sky was completely lit up with stars. was a visual that hit me deep. it's one of those moments where you wish you could stick a chip in your ear and download the image or something haha
to go back as an adult, and see it all so lush and green, and feel that connection in my blood...i absolutely can't wait to go back sometime soon

oh i know, it's breathtaking the footage they got for that series. i'd love to get the DVd of the whole thing. like that footage of that bird dancing in the rain forest? i think they said the guy had to wait 8 weeks, all day long every day, waiting to catch that!
