i enjoyed the lighthouse special, the original episode is one of my favorites. i'm on the fence with the international one though...i like the concept but not having jason or grant on it really takes away from the show. i don't like that new lead guy. i'll have to give it another chance i think. i can't wait for the new season of the original show in march though!

yeah, that was annoying. he has a meathead quality that doesn't seem to fit right. who knows though, maybe it'll just take some getting used to. i just wasn't interested in the episode last nite, and i love old castles and such too!

amen! and is it just me and my messed up ears or when they "hear" an EVP it doesn't even sound like anything at all even when they replay it and say it's in another language, i just don't hear it at all. it's lke they're reaching to show something to merit paying their way to europe!

i was thinking the same thing! i mean, maybe it is in another language....but to me it just sounds like a noise, not words. i don't know. i just can't get into it. it's a shame too because it has potential to be a really good show. it just has a weird crew.

oh good i thought it was just me! it definitely just sounds like noises....nothing definite. i think there was one castle in italy where they actually got a voice, but it sounded almost *too* clear, you know?
the crew is bunk lol it really makes a difference for the show, i really like jason and grant, they work well together and i think their approach is more respectful of the people they deal with as opposed to the weirdo on the international show

The girls annoy me. Last night on GH (rerun of the USS Lexington ship show) Donna felt uncomfortable and wanted out of the room. To me that would be the perfect opportunity to record EVP and take photos and not leave because she felt uncomfortable. If you feel uncomfortable or sick on a ghost hunt, it is usually because a spirit is present. All I can say is that I know the feeling....
The other chick does rush investigations and is impatient. They are in a foreign country and go around asking questions in English when doing EVP work and expect a result within minutes? That is arrogant. I know some of what bothers me is due to editing for TV but still....

I hope the new season doesn’t seem set up the way International does. That would be disappointing
i have faith it'll be like how they normally operate. GHI was very disappointing, in large part because of the team. jason and grant know how to do it!
Maybe I’ve been ruined by the farce that is Ghost Hunters International but they seemed a little too quick to say the place was haunted, especially Jason, who hardly ever uses the “H” word.
But if it was all staged, they do it way better than GHI; I got a little creeped out by the episode.
i loved last night's episode, what a way to bring the season back around with a bang! i just wished we could have seen taht face that grant saw in casement #11. maybe if they went next time they could put some cameras and recorders down there and see what stuff they could pick up. i'm glad it's back!
