    A nauseatingly terrible loss tonight for the boys. No excuses for Nathan he should have thrown to first, walked the next batter and then prayed for a DP. The offense is still feast or famine (as it has been all season). Thought Young kind of dogged it tracking down the errant throw but whatever. Liriano looked awesome so there's a positive.

    Only a 1/2 game back but I'm not optimistic here. No chance to get the WC (Yankees may even yet push past the Twins there). The Twins will probably only win 10 or so more games and finish a respectable 2nd. Considering I thought they'd win 70-75 that's not too shabby. Plus even if they did make it this team wouldn't last 10 minutes in the playoffs (barring some miraculous 2007 Colorado Rockies type run). Would've been nice if the front office had made a little better effort in procuring a right-handed power bat and some more bullpen help.

    Oh and f*ck the White Sox I'm cheering for the Rays!

    One game back again....this season is giving me a headache. Can't believe we made up 1.5 games in one day. :) Hate to see the Sux players going down to injury so they have an excuse.

    Well if you'd told me back in April that the Minnesota Twins would be playing meaningful baseball the last week of the season I would have taken it. I honestly predicted 70-75 wins and a 3rd or 4th place finish. No matter what happens 84 wins is already pretty damn good for a rebuilding season. Neither team really deserves this division (the Indians have actually been the best team in the AL central for the past 6 weeks) but somebody has to get their ass handed to them in the ALDS!

    Anyone going to the Dome for this big series? I work tonight and tomorrow (BAH!) but I'm hoping to be there Thursday when our Minnesota Twins complete the sweep!
