You do not have to go to Philly to get a good cheese steak!
shaved ribeye, onions, cheese and a decent Italian roll are all you need
Those Italian beef sandwiches give a cheese steaks a run for the money!
I am quite fond of an Italian beef sammy...but since I grew up with them they don't have the same allure that the Philly cheesesteaks do for me. If I had to choose one way or the other though...I'd go cheesesteak!

Most of the slice joints-yes that is true. But if you know where to go........mama mia
(I actually think CT has the best pizza in the U.S.)
That could be the case. I've only been to NY twice for real quick trips and we stopped at random joints. You could tell the New Yorkers cuz they were the ones folding their slices in half

One problem is that you probably stayed in Manhattan. Next time you're in NYC, hit me up and I'll take you on a nice pizza tour of Brooklyn.

I can admit when something is better outside of NYC-like tacos.
They serve pizza pot pies.

You're right. It's not as good as that authentic Chicago Dominoes you get.
