What will next season be about? The Oceanic 6 back home? The remaining people on the island? Both? or will the Oceanic 6 go back right away as Ben was eluding in the end to last nights finally?

I think both. My thought is they'll show the continuing stories from the mobile island...and of course Jack's downward spiral.

P.S. I *DO NOT* want Sawyer to hook up with Juliette.

Hmmm, well they were drinking it up when we last saw them, looking prettier to each other by the minute. lol... opposites do attract. See Kate and Jack.

I guess it would make sense that it will go between the people left on the island and the oceanic six back home. Season 5 will probably end with the Oceanic 6 making their triumphant return.

I think Desmond and Penny will play a part in getting them back.

My frustration at this show is so through the roof right now. I love it and hate it at the same time.

jin may have lived. however, the island wouldnt allow michael to die untill he did his job. christian appearing to him and telling him he is done i think may signify that he was finally free and allowed to die, which now that we know hes not in the coffin, he did. i think sun pairing with widmore will be a big problem for jack, ben and desmond.
I just re-watched that scene and it's still left open.. Notice he tells Michael to go, and that his job is done HERE.. meaning he might more jobs elsewhere to do. That is why he appears, to warn him to go and get off the boat before it explodes.

But didn't Christian say to Michael something to the effect of "you can go now Michael". Meaning he did what he was supposed to and the island is not protecting him anymore? Jin might have but Michael was right where the explosives were.

Agreed, Christian did say this. So, I do believe Michael died. Not sure about Jin.

I think Faraday will probably end up in the screwed up time like Desmond was. Afterall, at the end of the Desmond episode Faraday wrote in his book that desmond would be his constant if anything happened. The island moving would be an excuse to screw up with his time, and well since he's with a lot of red shirts they'd have no chance of surviving. Then when he returns to normal time he'll be back on the island.

Wild speculation, but they're obviously going to mess with Faraday's time sometime soon.

I laughed quite a bit last night, "boom" was very funny (really wish they hadn't killed Jin off, one of my favorite characters), and cracked up when Benry said "time travelling bunnies"...the delivery was hilarious.

Didn't Jin get a DWI and isn't that the fate of everyone on the show that gets a DWI charge? Sorry Jin.

re: Nirvana & Pixies - the scene from last season's finale with Scentless Apprentice took place on April 5th when Jack first drove to the funeral parlor...last night's episode he presumably went back late in the night (April 6th) and was listening to Gouge Away...the day of Kurt's death & the birthday of Francis. Kind of clever/odd/impressive to randomly throw those connections in there.

was a great episode. really a lot to process still.

I think Claire died in her sleep the night Christian showed up. She was in that explosion at the others camp and kept rubbing her head the next day, kind of out of it. Maybe she had head injuries that caused her to die in her sleep. I can't imagine how she would ever leave the baby if she wasn't dead. IMO.

Libby and Ana Lucia got DUI's right after one another on Hawai'i and soon after..."blam, blam", both killed in one scene.

Jin got a DUI, and "boom" (not Kenny Gaspar).

So yeah I think Jin is dead.

I was reading an article that said originally Michael was only supposed to kill Ana Lucia, but the producers felt like the audience wouldn't really sympathise with her, so they add Libby to the mix (which maybe the reason her back story was never told)
    My lips are shaking.......

I am just hoping that since he is part of the original O.G. survivors and not a newer character introduced as the story went along like those two he will be an exception.

I think she did die in the explosion. As someone on this thread pointed out earlier. Miles kept looking at Claire wierd.

I'm kind of glad about that.. Locke was a bitch.

Desmond will help them get back to the island..

Sawyer will continue to be a bad ass.. Him and Kate will probably end up together.. I'm thinking Jack will die in the last season.

Jack- "I'll see you in another life, brother" to Despond..

    Desmond- "Aye.. Yes you will".

Best scene in the whole series..

12.2 mil for the finale. Not great numbers compared to their other finales. But that could also be because of dvr vewing where Lost is among the top 5. Also the strike moved the finale a week after.

With Lost it's pretty much impossible to tell viewing figures, especially in any dcountry outside of the US. I don't know a single Lost fan over here who watches Lost on TV. Bit torrent really has taken over.

Yeah, and as rabid as the fanbase is, Lost still doesn't get the ratings of some other shows simply because of the nature of the storytelling. It is harder for them to get new viewers to the show. Sure it happens more nowadays with DVDs etc from past seasons being available, but there aren't a lot of casual viewers like you have for other shows.
