I was in Wrigleyville this evening.. not so incredible..

This is a generalization, but drunk Cubs fans = douche bags..

Seriously, this dude tried to have sex with every cab car he saw stopped.. I mean, come on!

I'm sure southsiders do stuff just as stupid, but the whole drunk frat boys Cubs thing is fucking annoying..

"looks at me, I'm old enough to drink, but I act like I'm five!"

Atleast we actually stab people on the south side and not try to have sex with cars.. :p

Just think how fucked up it will be if the Cubs and Sox make the series?!??!?!?!
Now THAT would be scary! :D

I should write a song for the Sox. Granted I'm not the best guitarist in the world, but I can play a 4 chord song like Ed's "Go All the Way" pretty easily...though the vocals might be a little rough :D.

Work in progress...it should be interesting though. ;)

It was great to be there last night. Still coming down.

Could not beleive they played all the way at wrigley. I think they have a bad copy of it though.

    Magic # is now 11.

lol, I love the Sox, but think they will loose in the first or second round of the playoffs. I have faith they will make the playoffs, but can't see them beating a team like Boston or the Angels, unless they can't get some of that '05 magic back.

I think the Cubs will do pretty good, but you gotta remember, the playoffs are a whole new season. Best record means nothing come playoff time.
  • the playoffs are a whole new season

    indeed it is.

but the cubs have been playing so well....like a team,
and hopefully it will carry over into the post-season.

it is pretty amazing that All The Way was the first song
played in Wrigley after the victory.

it surely made me smile when i heard....big time.

You say that the Sox dont have a chance in the playoffs and the next line you say that it is a whole new season and anything can happen.

The hottest team wins in the playoffs and you should know that from 05. Same with the Cards in 06 and if the Rockies did not have to sit around a wwk last year maybe they would have stayed hot and beat Boston in the 07 WS.

My point is if you get in you have a chance. That goes for the White Sox too. I cant believe that both Chi teams will be in the playoffs.

Lets help out the brew crew and kick the crap out of the Mets this week.

There is not many teams that I hate more than NY and would like to see a division foe make the playoffs. But with that said we can help the Brewers out until we play them this weekend and knock them out.

What happened to that Brewer Fan that liked to hang out here?

Your Cubs better go all the way this year. Last year when they were knocked out in the first round I so enjoyed that. :)

This year maybe will be a different story for your team.

Sorry I just won't and never will get on the Cubs bandwagon.

But I will say Congrats to winning the Central. :)

    He's back!!!

I am cheering for you guys up until Friday when we play you again. The only reason not to cheer for Milw IMO is that we would have to go out west to play the Dodgers. I hate those late night games.

Maybe this year will be a different story for your team too. Postseason play?

Late games do suck. I remember the days of coming home from school or even being at school and playoff baseball was on. Those were fun times. Now it's all about ratings.

I'm the other Brewer fan, but I only spaketh in jeolous and hateful terms...I've decided I need jesus and the cubs to do the right thing this week....please go 3-3 to finish it out by winning the next three and tanking the last - PLEASE. I promise if you do, even if you win the World Series, I will not say a bad word about the Cubs for 365 days - starting if/when the Brewers clinch a playoff spot.

Shit the Mets tied it up.

At least your Brewers won in dramatic fashion too. We should be able to get the Mets at least one of these next two. Hopefully you guys can do your part and take care of the horrendous Pirates, so the games at least have meaning for you this weekend. It'd be fun if the games actually meant something, if not they aren't even worth going to.
