    So sorry to hear that. :( It's sooo hard to lose a pet. I still think about my dog who passed away all the time. I'm glad I have Gizmo now and can't imagine life without him.

    WHAT A TOTAL ABSOLUTE SWEETHEART!!!! Good luck with your decision! I was just thinking about you and your potential rescue...and here it is! I think the mix is a good way to go because you get more years out of them, much less cancers and genetic problems. I hope to find a Weim/Dobie mix next.

    today is exxxactly 6 months since my SURFER has been away from me. I miss him today more than i have in the recent months. Heres one of my favorite pics. I know he's in doggie heaven but......i keep teling myself he's just taking a long nap :(

    on a happy note this really sadd day, me and Spydee just returned a LOST DOGgie to its home!!! :D he was same caramel/mahogany color like my SURFER! We drove by and saw him standing in the middle of the road all alone. I slammed on the brakes and started talking to him. He came over and i checked his tag and took him home a few blocks away. :D

    I'm so sorry to hear about Surfer. I didn't know. :( I would be devestated too. What you did today was really great! :)

    Thanks! He's my little teddy bear. he is a mix between a shiz-tu and a brussels griffon. They call him a Shiffon but its not a recognized breed yet. He reminds me a lot lof the griffon in the face and of course his curly hair. You should hear his howl that he does when he talks to us. It's sooooo adorable.

    I'm in SHOCK! I had Petey to the vet today....and thought he was somewheres around 100 pounds....well guess who had a HUGE GROWTH SPURT???? Mr Petey is 112 pounds at 15 months old! He is a MOOSE! My vet said he isn't fat at all, he is the biggest boned and muscled dobie he has ever seen! I had all his joints and hips Xrayed as he has been dealing with a injured leg, his structure is EXCELLENT, so that is GREAT NEWS! He has something called Pano, a growth disorder that large dogs get, like human growing pains.
