    Thanks guys!

Kasey is god damned resilient! Ultrasound did not show noticeable tumors on the pancreas. They still say they cannot rule out cancer, but she appears to be doing better today. She's gotten a lot of meds and fluids through IV as she was dehydrated, she ate this morning. Barked to let them know she needed to go out and piss which is a good sign as she kinda stopped barking this week. Moving around less gingerly.

They are thinking it probably is pancreatitis and that we might be able to pick her up tomorrow. Weird being in the house without her though.

Picking her up in a couple hours!

We have a vacation set up in a couple weeks, though. I'm already concerned about this damn corona virus....but now also am unsure of leaving Kasey behind. The place we board her is great, though. It's a doggie daycare place so she gets to be out a lot and they love her there. They have all her vet info in case something happens. I just feel bad having to bring here there.

Im exhausted by all the things I’m reading the last few weeks.
I need some doggie photos to lighten the mood and put a smile on my face.
    I’ll start:

    Great idea Wasa  :)

Zeus took this selfie a few weeks ago.  He’s got a bit of folly mouth going on here.  He is annoyingly interested in anything I’m looking at on my phone.

This one is from the summer after Max helped me make me the bed.

Winston is looking good Enkidu.  Your pups are cuties Wasa.

Kasey is doing better and better. We stopped the drugs that were making her sedate because they didn't mix well with her arthritis medication which meant she could barely walk. First day home was really bad. One time she had diarrhea and her back legs gave out and she fell backwards into it. THAT was rough!

We went to bed that night not knowing if we would have to make that tough call the next day. We just didn't know if she would be in pain without those drugs so we were thinking about her quality of life. With work and stuff we were concerned about leaving her home. But the vet called later that day and said her blood work results came back showing significant improvement. Said to go back to the arthritis stuff and see how it goes but that she should have some qualify of life left in her.

Anyway, yesterday was a lot better. She did well by herself for a few hours. This morning she actually got up out of her bed without help for the first time since being home. Is more attentive and even walked up and down the deck steps. So I think we are in good shape.

Thanks for all your positive vibes!

That’s fantastic news. Among some dogs’ best qualities is that their will is so strong. Sounds like Kasey’s got it!

rhian, we need a face pic of Marley, please.

(Poncier, your pooch looks like she milks her cuteness, big time).

Hopefully today was a good one for Kasey!!
Lily needs to come around more often  ;)
Indiania and Marley sharing the dog bed, too cute!
Poncier, I have to ask, is that the same dog in both photos? She, I presume is a she from the cute little bows looks two different colours.

Same dog, probably just the lighting as one is indoors and the other outdoors in the car.
She's a blonde. They have more fun.
