Rob, i am so sorry to hear about Gracie. And I am hating that damn quiet myself. I am grateful that she didn't suffer and I am sure that she and Harley (who always believed he was a big dog) are playing tug of war with that frisbee right now.

I think that's how all of us are going to remember Gracie--that goofy, happy girl playing in the snow, hanging out with her friend Sasha, chilling on the couch.

If you never got to share those experiences with her, you and Codie still shared a happy life with her. Nobody could have loved her more than you did. Dogs live in the moment. They don't worry about the past or the future or have regrets or disappointments. I think Gracie loved every minute of her life with you.

Such sad news about Gracie, your pictures of her running about were one of the reasons me and my wife come here - she brought more joy than she could have ever known.

Oh Rob. I am so so sorry. I've just made it back now after the big change here, and am sad to see the news. These last few months must have been so hard...seeing the ups and the downs... But you did all you could. Im glad to hear Gracie didn't suffer in the end. And you for sure can't think about the things you didn't get to do with her! Gracie had such a great life, with so many trips to the park and so many friends... people here who loved her, and she didn't even know it! Thank you for sharing Gracie with us. She has brought many smiles. Please visit us often... this thread won't be the same without you. :(

thank you. I plan on coming around. I need my doggie fix. I went to the park today with sasha and his owner. very sad not to have gracie at my side.

I just looked thru gracie's vet records.....the poor little girl went to the vet 66 times in her short life. thank goodness she liked the vet. they loved her down there...when we put her down, even the receptionist burst into tears when we walked in....and she never even treated gracie. she definitely left her mark.

Yes, she did. So many of us here thought of her as one of our own special doggies, or as my vet likes to say, our "god-dog."
