    "Pepsi"
    Has gone to vet.
    Too young to deworm.
How do we potty train? or is there something else to do first?

  • @Malroth,
I find it funny that you named your puppy "Pepsi", after all that shit you gave people in the drink thread!   =)

I wanted to name him "I don't give a flying fuck what you are drinking right now", but wife and kids chose "Pepsi". ;)

What's his breed?  Not sure how old he was when you rescued him but judging by his paws...maybe ultimately 40-45 pounds?

Not sure and not sure. Vet thinks she sees dachshund in him.
So the paws thing is true? everyone tells us that, and they say his paws are small.

The paw thing was true for one of our cats =)

His back paws look large, but I could see Dachshund too in the face - fortunately he doesn't look like he's in full stumpy territory.

Not ambitious so much as not wanting to sleep with a muddy, crusty dog.  After all, I just changed the sheets!

speaking of “sleeping with”....Winnie never gets off the bed; Piper is on the bed, off the bed, on the bed, off the bed...

I hear ya.  Mine have a knack for picking up the stinkiest smells and who wants to cuddle with that.  I need to check out one of those self-serve dog washes; none on my side of town though.

are you sure? we have one right across the street and another within a couple of miles. if you didn’t know they were there, you’d probably never notice them.

another bonus is the tubs are big and at countertop height. we are never going back to bathtub bathing!

I've even found them at 2 different car washes. Wash your car then wash your dog...or te other way around.

You must live in a more progressive place than I do.    I did an online search and there are half a dozen on the west side of town, about 15 miles from me.  If you live on the east side, I guess you're expected to have dirty dogs.
I agree about no more bathtubs!  We have a utility sink in our garage, which is great.  The downside is that we have a detached garage and it's unheated so not very fun for dogs or Mom this time of year.
