I took some time to read through most of this thread, it is the best on the board for smiles.I learned Gracie's song too, we are dog goofs, no better way to be. Glad she is fighting this and now her vet trips are lessened. I'll tell Lucy and Maddie they like good news.

Brian's birthday was yesterday - he's three. His big treat today was half a sausage sandwich from Starbucks. He didn't understand the candle.



Then we practiced "stay." Then he ate it. Two gulps. We'll go for a nice hike later.

(By the way, my husband got Brian's birthday wrong so it's really the 31st. So he'll get another Starbucks sandwich. Or maybe something better.)

gracie just went on her first post-surgery walk today

she is chomping at the bit to get back to her old routine but we are going slow....don't want those staples to rip!

just got back from the vet...when i woke this morning, norm was holding up his right rear leg...somehow during the night, norm tore a pad on his paw...for those of keeping score, his recent surgery was on his left leg...so now he has to get around with a weakened left leg and a very sore right paw
