I love how sunshine makes cat dog fur smell so damn good. Not sure if it's a product of the warmth or their mmm-ing in the moment coming through. Or both?

This, just because but especially for my righteous babe :)

We have a friend who is a professional photographer (she does a lot of food photography) and she'll post pictures of her dogs on Facebook and they're always so wonderful. Here's an example.

    That is awesome!

Kasey brought a dead mouse into our house last night and dropped it off in the foyer. That....was not awesome.

Juggler, I hope you still thanked Kasey. Intent must be taken into account!

This made me smile and want to snuggle those puppies, Wob.

    (don't even go there =) )

I'm such a sucker for dogs...

...fine, not so much of the smaller breeds.

I'm also quite fond of those who rescue them, those who train them to serve - more than they already do - and those *edit - WHO foster them.

Looking at YOU, my righteous babe!

40 pounds.....about half of what our Goldens were.

she sheds like a big dog, though.

Piper looks enormous. And very cuddly.

I don't have any photos, but our new rescue Madison is an insane squirrel chaser. The past couple days Madison and Lisa have been manically trying to climb trees, climb the swing set - anything to get at the squirrels. They've had no success. So far.

Hi, Norm. Yep, Lisa's got a big brother. Madison (named for you know who). A rescue, between 5 - 7, messed up skin and eyes, but a sweetheart. I posted this earlier. I'll try to get squirrel chasing video.

she does...it was her markings that drew me to her...

haha, yeah, I mean we have added a bit to it, but the carpet was abysmal when we moved in...they did not clean it before they put the place back on the rental market...

Also love her markings. And if I took a picture of our carpet, all of you would throw up. We keep waiting for the kids to be gone before we replace it.

Both dogs got on the tiny sofa in my office this morning. The "in the cookies of life friends are the chocolate chips" was given to me as a joke. Really.

Hey, that couch looks like it's just begging for two large-ish dogs to get comfy on it (and I actually appreciate the saying on that pillow!).

    Couple of beauts there.

They are so cute! I have a cousin who has German shepherds too...they have a mama dog and then she not too long ago had a litter and they kept 2 of the pups..., so now they have 3...I've always loved them, I wouldn't mind having one someday...there are so many breeds I want though...haha, I want to rescue every dog that needs rescuing too...lol
