Poor Orbit. She had an infection in her uterus and had to have an Emergency Desexing yesterday :( She had a Pyometra infection. It can turn very nasty very quickly.

We got to take her home on the same day though and her Mommy is looking after her today.

A drugged up Great Dane is quite a handful!

Oh, so sorry to hear that!
That happened to Penny just before we adopted her. We were told she'd been very sick. She bounced back quickly though and it never slowed her down!

The surgery bill caught us on the hop. We had the go with the cheapy.

We only put it on her when we can't keep an eye on her. Luckily I only live about 2 minutes from work so I've be checking up on her a few times a day and taking it off when I go home for lunch.

Thanks for all the well wishes. Her appetite has return with avengance and she's back to her goofy self today.

glad to hear orbit is doing better!


so last night i'm watching tv and norm is in the other room...he starts barking which is normal at this time at night...he hears the cats/possums outside...so after a couple barks i tell him to stop...he doesn't, which is normal...then he starts to howl! in the over six years i've had him, i've never heard him howl! so i go in the other room and there he is, stretched out on the sofa, asleep...he was dreaming!

i couldn't...he was in the other room and once he heard me he woke up...loudest dream i've heard from him

Thanks Who Princess and Pandora, I don't think she's ugly either. She is a really lovely little thing, bit timid of other people though.
