    I haven't gotten mine either and have been wondering about it. I didn't get one from the ASPCA though.

    :think: I ordered something off the ASPCA website before, so I wasnt sure if I had gotten one from them because of that, or if it was a trade out for the BSPCA one seeing as I'm outside of their area. Still hoping Sammi arrives here in the lower 48 before January is over :D

    Had an awful night last night with the thunder and lightning, :( Henry and Jo were terrified. Had to hug them from 3:00am to 5:00 am in the morning til the storm was over. Anyone else has scaredy cat dogs when it comes to thunder?

    No fraidy dogs at the moment but I've had them in the past. Different things worked with different dogs. One was content just to lean against the side of the bed while I gave him a few pats. Another had to jump into my lap or on the bed with me. Not sure why it seems to affect some dogs more than others.

    One of my dogs isn't scared, but it makes him nervous - like he feels he needs to keep the thunder away from his people. My parents got a Thundershirt for their Border Collie who has the same issues, and they swear she relaxes as soon as it's on. I've got one now, but haven't had a need to try it yet.

    Our previous dogs Ernst and Keiko were totally scared of thunder. We don't have thunderstorms that much in LA, but when we did, they would both cower in the laundry room together and shiver.

    Brian could care less. We took him to watch fireworks on the 4th this year (I'm sure I posted the photo in this thread) and he loved them. Crazy. He does cower when one of us says, "Fuck" though. Seriously. His ears go back and he hides under the table.

    Both ours are afraid too but not as bad as Jakey was. He knew there was a storm long before it came...
    he was our rain barometer. At one point in life the vet gave him some valium to get through.
    Now we know hugging is the beat medicine for us all. :D
    Hope the storms are few and far between for Henry and Jo...
    I know the hugs won't be though.

    What is it about snow that makes dogs go crazy? We don't get snow very often but when we do my dogs always have a blast running through it.
