For Memorial Day ( seeing how our family is largely Military), we always have a huge BBQ at my parents' house, the difference this year is that I'mmmmmm living here now, so doggies were invited as well as their humans. So we had 22 humans and 13 doggies, two of whom were para-trooping doggies!! ( it is so wild that these dogs jump out of planes with their people!!) All-together there was the two Para-trooping Malinois, one Beagle named Scoop, a Rat Terrier named Mikey, two labs, one chocolate named Fudge (he was named by a 4 yr old after a Judy Bloom book character lol)one golden named Abbey ( our neighbors' doggie, our Pitt/Lab's fence friend), our two dogs.. Cleo the Daschund, and Zoe, the Pitt/Lab, my sister's two dogs, an American Bulldog named Jack, and a cattle dog mix named Betty, a chihuahua named Lucy Belle, a french bulldog named Harley, and one fat assssssed Springer Spaniel who was appropriately named Porky!! I t was quite a riot, and all went extremely well!! My dad was actually impressed that I was able to manage keeping all the dogs busy, having fun and getting along, as were everyone's owners!! the Two Malinois were the craziest ones though, they kept jumping into the jaccuzi with the kids, they also kept drinking everyone's beers!! I forgot their names but they were named in some crazy language and trained in Russian, so they were a trip!!! all in all it was exhaustiung, but fun and totally worth it!! I hope all the doggies come again next year!!

i'll get back in the swing soon enough, and let ya all know just wtf has kept me away all this time in due time as well. :P igby and chloe had birthdays pass....igby turned 8 on may 25th! the pups are doing great, so one bright spot.

The other day my prince was getting ready to leave for work and came into the bedroom to tell me bye. Penny started some ferocious barking at him but never came out from under the bed. :roll:
