73% of all know-it-all haters suffer from low self-esteem. I know for a fact that stat is accurate.

HAHAHAHA. But you know what...you're probably right. I've noticed that with the know-it-alls, I think they do it to make themselves feel better.

I always wonder why people feel the need to be heard all of the time no matter what the topic. I've learned to keep SOME of my opinions to myself, even if I know the other person is 100% wrong about something (as long as its not a life-threatening situation!).

it's ok. we're not a fan of having to explain everything to you either. it's exhausting letting you know how wrong you are.

I learned that when dealing with my ex-roommate. No matter WHAT I said, I was wrong...so to save the stress of an argument I just agreed.

Maybe it's the subjects that you don't find too amusing, and not the person?
At least, that's my case. I usually just give 'em blind ears...

no...for the most part it's usually the person. sometimes you just need to go with the flow. they're as bad as one-uppers. this should be a seinfeld episode.

i've learned to just nod and smile and silently think in my head what a jack@ss they are. it's easier that way. :D

That's the best way to deal with them. You can't feed into it...lol

This should totally be a seinfeld epi and that is excellent advice...about just smiling and nodding. ;)

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
