She's the stereotypical sassy Latina character. But showing her living in the basement of the hospital shows a different side to her, I think. I'm curious to see how it pans out for George. He needs something good to happen, and some toughening up.

After seeing Callie Torres in the same room with Izzie and Meredith, I found myself respecting her more. She's got a tough way about her, but underneath I think she is just the love interest George would need at this point.

Even though George showed some vulnerability with her in the end of the episode, he still verbalized to Izzie that he can't NOT think about Meredith. And then he covered for her and spoke well of her when talking to Thatcher.

That George is a stand-up guy.

Why the disdain for Dr. Torres?

George had terrible experiences with girls so far in the series. Olivia gave him syphilis. Meredith cried while they were about to get it on. Older, undesireable (for him) women have been attracted to George. You see?

If this character doesn't take any crap off anyone, maybe that's good for George's character. At least Torres doesn't tiptoe around George or play like everything is OK when it's not. Izzie & Meredith do enough of that as it is.

Looking forward to this Sunday and how the new episode goes down.

I agree! I think Torres is good for George. He needs to be with someone who is honest.

Thanks for the heads-up, but I thought I saw previews for next week at the end of the episode on 4/2. Maybe that was a teaser for two weeks from now?

Another week without a new GA episode. I really hope the new ones are spectacular when the series comes back to life.

If there's a cliffhanger at the end of the season, I bet it will be Meredith having to choose between Chris O'Donnell's character and Patrick Dempsey's character.

But that would mean a divorce is imminent...

    Ridiculous storylines, but highly entertaining.

Restaurant shoot-em-up guy makes his way to the hospital to finish off the manager he didn't get the first time? Very strange.

Meredith and Derrick. Will they? Won't they? It's not going to be answered any time soon (otherwise, where would the show have to go?), but Addison may go crazy trying to figure it out. Chief told her to get a grip; I think he'll lay down consequences if she doesn't.

Burke getting shot...didn't see that coming at all. Nice twist on the whole unethical heart transplant deal. I like the possibilities that creates for the next part of the epidsode: Denny dying in a controlled environment while his surgeon is dying in an operating room. That ought to give Cristina some perspective, too.

Izzy is way out of line and Bailey never should've assigned her to check on Denny. She needed Torres in there to smack her around and throw her out of dude's room. Terrible plot and very hard to believe, I think; I guess Shonda has to surprise us somehow. But no way any professional physician gets him/herself into that type of moral dilemma.

Keeping a brain-dead woman alive in order to harvest her fetus? Another terrible attempt at hospital theatrics. I suppose it's more believable than Izzy flatlining Denny to get him a new heart, but c'mon already.

I'll be watching the next part, but with a critical eye. Things were getting a little too far-fetched for me in tonight's hour.

i agree, i was debating wether i would watch the whole episode or not... i just find the Izzy thing waaaaay too unbelievable.. i mean, someone would eventually figure out that the tube had been cut .. tomorrow night should be interesting, but i hate when good tv shows start doing shit like that for ratings... so annoying!
