But if his character IS vulnerable for the sake of being with Izzy and her character discounts that by taking interest in a heart patient, doesn't Alex have a right to feel slighted?

If I were in a similar situation, I know I would be.

I think you're absolutely right. Alex is one arrogant bastard, though and godforbid someone steal 'his' girl.

I guess because of the rerun, there's little to talk about.

How about this? Chris O'Donnell will begin his run of several guest appearances this Sunday, playing a veterinarian who catches Meredith's eye. I think I read that on TVGuide's website.

There's also talk of some major plot twists in the coming weeks, but I don't know if people here are into the whole spoilers thing.

Yup, all new. Chris O'Donnell had a horrible show on Fox at the beginning of the season, Head Cases, co-starring Adam Goldberg. It lasted all of 2 episodes.

grey's anatomy a guilty pleasure, but in my opinion it's very well written, well acted, and has one of the most diverse casts ever on a network tv drama... it's a great, groundbreaking show. i'm not afraid to admit it at all.

Yeah, there were previews. I think George overstays his welcome @ Burke's place. Burke also has a heated discussion with Alex, if memory serves.

Chief is all tentative around Meredith because he thinks she may know about his affair with her mother.

Meredith's pregnant half-sister comes into the hospital, so I think that means Thatcher makes another appearance.

We also know that McVet is going to be introduced on this episode (but the previews didn't show him).

So, did everyone watch last night? What did we think?

This was the first time in a while that I really felt Meredith's character hadn't brought it on herself. She really got a rough cut; seeing her smash the plaster was funny, though.

How about Alex and his 'truth'? The stand-off with Burke is awesome!

Chief and Cristina in the classroom/lab was very funny. "That's why they call me the CHIEF." I also enjoyed him trying to sit down to lunch w/ the interns.

I've never been a fan of Chris O'Donnell (acting or looks wise), but he was looking good last night. I was wondering when he was going to make his appearance. I told a friend who doesn't watch the show but was in love with Chris O'Donnell when we were in high school and I thought I had let her down. I hope she watched until the very end.

I loved when Izzy said, "Holy Crap! George is her McDreamy!" George needs someone who's really into him.

Chief was hilarious when he beat Cristina. I loved it!
