Ahh, I gotta say Flow is terrible. Hahaha. Oh well...I didn't pay for it, thank god! Pixel Junk Monsters is incredibly fun! If you get the chance, you should def. download that one.
Is there a trial game for it?
I'm still pissed at Warhawk's bundle coming out for 11.99 the week after I paid 8.99 for omega dawn alone...

SO I have another question. There was a part of San Andreas I really liked where gangs conrolled different zones of the city and you could fight them and take it over. Is there something like this in GTa4?

Also, that gang area part in SA I thought was awesome, but it really didnt have any resolve that i remember if you took over everything. Then again, I cant really remember, but I think i took over everything except one tiny section, then left to go to SF area, then when I came back, all my gang areas were disappeared! Damn that sucked!
Pick up my debut novel here on amazon: Jonny Bails Floatin (in paperback) (also available on Kindle for $2.99)

    Not like that in IV.

Like he said, it's not like that...which really makes more sense.

SA took place in the early to mid 90s in California. At that time gang presence was a real issue in different neighborhoods.

Not saying that doesn't happen in NYC, but it's not quite the same.

Someone found a plane ticket for Nico Bellic from LC to SA on the Socialclub.com thingimagingie.
    DLC anyone?

    I saw that earlier.

It's true (not SA anyways that anyone knows of), both systems will have DLC in the future...I wonder what exactly it will be though.
Can you imagine how freakin' huge SA would be?!?! That would be one long-ass download. LOL

Wouldn't SA be the next title? Since Niko is more of a character than any of the previous protagonists it wouldn't surprise me if they tried to keep him in the rest of the GTA 4 games. Definitely wouldn't be DLC.

I know both systems are getting DLC, I suspect they'll be different though.
It's going to be pretty pricey I imagine.
They were calculating how much DLC totalled for Ace Combat 6 (360) and for the game and all the DLC they were up to $180 dollars....

The 360 DLC is rumored to be extremely large, like island/city sized. I don't know anything about the PS3 stuff because I went with the 360 version.

Whoah, I'm sure that it'll be worth it. Rockstar seem to have a lot of common sense about making everything worthwhile.

My flatmate got GTA 4 yesterday. He used REALLY lame excuses not to go out yesterday night and tonight, and didn't even tell us he had it til we barged into his room just before we left! Living with a GTA recluse is like living with a drug addict :(

haha well we have 2 Xboxes. One flatmate keeps his in his room (the one who has GTA) and the other keeps his in the living room. So whenever the one with GTA isn't playing it and no one is watching tv in the livingroom I'll play it :p

Got 8 exams in the next 4 weeks though, so think I might wait until they're over before I even dare play it.

    Haha indeed.
I like it, but the only qualm I have is it doesn't seem fun to get the wanted level up anymore. The cars handle like pigs at high speed and its too hard to shake the police off your tail once theyre right behind you. The missions are a hell of a lot cooler, but I no longer feel the need to muck about between missions.

I'm up to 45% and the bloody activity phone calls are driving me bonkers, not to mention the absolutely moronic AI drivers.....

What the fuck. I'm at 65% and story mode is over. I didn't realize killing the pigeons, meeting 14 strangers, and all the other bullshit were part of getting up to 100% because when I did Jacob's drug runs and shit I didn't notice it add to my progress. Now whats the point of going back for all that stuff I should have done while I was still doing the main missions. Way too short of a game, with the same shootouts in different places over and over. Not Call of Duty 4 short, but way shorter than San Andreas.
Once in a while you can get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

Besides all the side-quest stuff (pigeons, cars, vigilante) that is pretty much it.
Shoot pool or go bowling ;)

Is anyone up for some Free Roam? I always end up playing with a bunch of people who end up shooting each other. It could be so much more fun - helicopter deatchmatches, skyscraper shootouts, etc.

Anyone interested? I'm sure Pearl Jam fans make good company.

I don't really mind them while I'm driving...they don't seem any more annoying than the other GTA games. What pisses me off are all the times I get run into when I'm on foot!!!
Christ, I try to cross the street and they don't even make an attempt to slow down! I'll have a little health left, cross the street, get taken out by a car and die. Fuck!

They aren't any more annoying than the other GTA games cause they were just as bad then ;)
I've had entire rows of cars suddenly change lanes. The lane changing is extremely annoying, especially when they just go back to their original lane right away.
And stopped traffic on a highway? Oy.
And yeah, getting run into all the time on foot.

On one of the tailing missions a random car decided to do a 3 point turn in the middle of the junction and then just stopped, creating a massive traffic jam that my target got stuck in. So I had to get out of my car, go to the stopped car, hijack it, move it out the way and then get back to my car, all the while making sure the target didn't see me.

Got onto the interview mission, first mission I'm stuck on! Surprised it's taken so long to get a challenging mission to be honest. Usually comes a lot earlier, but then again there are less cars on the road and less pedestrians around so driving missions are a hell of a lot easier.
