I can't believe you guys are playing it on hard.

I haven't beat Lou on medium yet, I found easy challenging enough. Of course I've never played a GH game nor a guitar.

You get Even Flow on stage 4 on easy and medium, so if your on japan you should already have it. It may have been the stage 4 encore.

Let's see some videos of people here playing Dragonforce on hard

It says I haven't completed the game on easy yet, but I've done everything, I even went back and played the songs I hadn't played, including Dragonforce and Hier Kommt Alex by Die Toten Hosen. But when I go to easy it reads 41/42 songs.

can you not calibrate it, under the options menu?

I can't even get the PS3 to recognize the controller. I'm going to make a trip to Best Buy this weekend and see if a new one will do the trick.

I've followed all the instructions, even unplugging other wireless devices and moving large metal objects away from my ps3.

I don't have it so I can't speak from experience, but from what I've read the problem is with the guitar and your only option is an exchange.

I saw that screen where you can enter the Cheats! It won't be long before we have a list of those I'm sure!

I still haven't unlocked "Sabatoge" or "Suck My Kiss".....where the hell are they?

They're in the co-op mode, which you can play online if you don't have anyone around who's game-friendly.

Also.. for the harder levels, it's best to store up 3 battlestars if you can and them blast them at the 'boss' simultaneously during his big solo.. then he'll go into the red in a burst of flames :)

I've gotten through the Dragonforce on expert (heh during pro-face off!) with 65% notes hit, but don't have a video. I'll try to take some videos this weekend when I plan to finish up the game :)

I like playing Cliffs of Dover (medium) to tone my fingers. It has a lot of up and down stuff to it. Good practice, I almost perfect it.

I can type 80 WPM though, so my fingers shouldn't be hurting, different muscles I guess.

What's the difference between face-off and pro face-off?

That's really good btw, I couldn't hit one note on that level.

    Regular face off is when each player can choose their own level, i.e.;

    me - expert
    vs.
    you - hard

And each player plays one segment/part of the song at a time... so left screen, right screen, left screen, right screen

Pro Face-Off is when both players are on the same level (both on expert) and both play the song simultaneously

    :)

I'm having trouble linking my account, but hopefully they'll have that fixed soon...

How do you do that? I can't seem to find that. It would rock if you could, since no one I knows is into the game as much as I am.

  • I've been stuck for two days now on the Hard Level at Same Old Song and Dance

I went ahead and completed a few expert songs...but I think I've leveled out!!!!

FYI...did you know if you get all 5 star reviews in easy and medium you get an extra guitar....one was a purple bat.

were you on the easy setting? Also it has a practice mode where you can slow it down to get a feel for it...and tutorials to help you play better. It's a great game...give it another chance!

Yeah, I'm on a 360, connected to XBox Live and everything.
  • All you losers need to put down that ridiculous video game and get a real guitar and start practicing on that. Jesus Christ what if Hendrix or SRV wasted their time dicking around on that game instead of hours of perfecting their licks on the axe?

What if Hendrix wasted his time on something productive instead of letting himself crash and burn at 28 because he was a fucking druggie? There's someone I really want to emulate!!

I know it has been answered, but I will try my best to clarify. You don't want to keep up with the bosses, you need to put them out, preferrably as early as possible. My advice, when you get an attack, hold on to it until you see the other guy about to get one, then let'er rip. He'll never be able to attack you because you prevent him from getting attacks in the first place. I hope that makes sense.

Prudish conservative. Get over yourself. Buy your son a banana and a condom and move on.
