yeah, saw the interview with redden before the game. apparently when he saw he was scratched he stormed into torts' office and had it out.

good for torts though. you know if that was renney he would have broken down and dressed him.

Reporters said they had heard them ( Torts and Redden )
screaming and yelling thru the thin walls of the Coliseum visitor lockerroom/offices area.

A hockey matinee between us and Philly,
right smack in the middle of a
    Saturday afternoon Blizzard.

And two points. Nice way to start the weekend. Anisimov, Drury, and Callahan have stepped it up over the past week along with the King.

figures after dubinsky ties it up with a millisecond to go in the game,

okposo came thru for you bastards.

that game was pretty tight throughout.

1 question- do the refs not call anything if it involves # 16 on the Blueshirts ?

they were mauling that guy all night ! no whistles !

but they were only using 1 ref all night  that will be the nhl's excuse.

they mentioned during the game that callahan is 3rd in the league in hits? love it.

there was 1 point in the game last night leading up to dubinskys 2nd goal,
Where it was Dubinsky preaching in a huddled circle with Callahan and Del Zotto.
Throw in Girardi , Gilroy, and Jessimen , I thought to myself the Hartford squad has evolved some great players lately,

Last night was easily the worst performance I've seen at MSG in at least six years. What more can be said? At least they don't have time to stew over it, another game tonight.

but maybe dubinsky shouldve made it also?

I was thinking that to bathy. I guess he hasn't put up the numbers or isn't what burke is looking for. But I can't believe KO of the islanders didn't make it. His toughness and leadership woulda been good for usa. I'm really glad ryan miller finally gets his time to shine.

I suspect the time he was on the injured list for his broken hand
left him either unavailable and or restricted for selection in some form .
KO def wouldve been another nice addition.
We all know DiPietro isnt a factor this time around, pretty sad for the franchise out there on long island .

whew what a roller coaster of emotion.

first, we dominate The Bruins ALL NIGHT minus the final 4 minutes.

then we allow them to come back and tie it up.

Then, with 1:29 remaining Higgins somehow stuffs one into the twine.

the Rs were actually " physical " last night!
