for a season, yes. long term, i don't think so. the rangers would give up too much and they have been so good at sticking to their system of youthful, homegrown talent. would be a shame to see them dismantle the team in the offseason because of what nash would do to the cap space.

dubinsky is a warrior. his game can't be summed up by his stat line. the guy plays both ends of the ice so well. blocks shots, takes faceoffs, kills penalties, gets power play time, drops the gloves. he DEFINES the type of game the rangers are striving for.

if he finds his scoring touch, he will put the rangers over the top this season.

by the way for what it's worth, effective in April our family is switching to FIOS. The first question I asked was when does their contract expire with MSG and the answer was 2017. That and how Time Warner handled the nearly two months of missed Ranger games kind of pushed our family to them.
