All-Star game in Montreal for the Centennial.
Don't like it? Stop whining and start voting. Don't blame the fans for the NHL's shitty 'vote now and vote often' ballot system.

Exactly ;) If they have the same voting scheme set up, I'd expect a plethora of Ragamuffins in the starting line up.

I also love how the naysayers blame all 300k+ votes per player on internet scripts...lol

its just weird.... I expected a few more U.S. votes but I guess not. Oh well
either way..enjoy it..should be fun ;) even tho Lundqvist should be the starting goalie....hell we dont even know the Canadiens goalies name....is it still Roy...or Dryden? lol

Oh now you're just bustin balls.
Price has been playing very well over the last two weeks, even if the rest of the team hasn't (last three games have been very good though).

Besides, if we were to base All-Star starters on current play, Thomas would get the nod.

December and early January seem to be when the slump happens, at least based on the last two years.

last year it was a 7-12-4 slump from december 3-january 20 and then they were 20-6-7 the rest of the way.

two years ago it was an 8-14-1 skid that spanned from late december to early february.

Can't win 'em all. Detroit lost 11 straight last year and won the cup, so...

Just hope to make the post-season, cause after that it's a whole new game.

Funny, the Penguins fans are using the same script now that caused the big camuffin in the first place ;)

The Panthers will be without their second leading scorer Nathan Horton as well as one of their other main offensive weapons, Cory Stillman. But the player to watch for Florida is David Booth, who has scored three of their last seven goals and seven in the last eight games, including all three goals in a 3-1 win over Anaheim in the first of those games.

Back-up goalie Craig Anderson will be in net after having replaced starter Tomas Vokoun during the Panthers' last game against the Devils, a game in which the Panthers erased a 2-0 deficit in the final two-plus minutes of the game before losing in overtime. Anderson has only made eight appearances this season, but his goals against average is a full goal lower than Vokoun's (2.01 to 3.01) and his save percentage of .942 is excellent. Anderson, you may recall, posted consecutive 1-0 shutouts last March to bolster Florida's ultimately unsuccessful playoff push, stopping a total of 93 shots, including 53 against the Islanders.

yea. but we've seen that before and end up getting disappointed in the end. where in that same span they would give up 4 or 5 goals.

Zhederev has seemed to really come alive .
He is a magician tonight- one of those plays going right in , unassisted, over the blueline, weaving and stickhandling without missing a beat thru a throng of 3 or 4 Panthers.

for some reason, i still don't fully trust zherdev. very wishy, washy with his attitude, and he is clearly playing for a contract right now, that is why he "chooses" to play well? glad he is performing right now, but i'd like to see how he fairs long term.

i think it's pretty obvious that without hank, this team would not have more than 10 wins.

on that note, lets bring this road momentum home :)

Safe to say that was the worst effort of the season so far.
