Man this road trip is rough. It only gets harder, 3 in Seattle and 3 in Anaheim. Yipes.
7.5 games out if we lose. And Alfredo Aceves should start in Rasners' spot. And I still think Hughes should start Saturday. I hope they bring him up.I miss igotid880 -
Now they're doing something. But with 2 outs in the 9th. What happened to the sound? Bob Lorenze is announcing.I miss igotid880

7-5 now. With A-Rod's 550th HR. Back to back with Jeter.I miss igotid880

All that for nothing. Damn Yankees.I miss igotid880

When the sound on the announcers booth went out. The Yankees scored. When it comes back. Nady flies out. So maybe everyone is wrong about A-Rod. Michael Kay is the jinx.I miss igotid880

they need to drop Ponson and Rasner off deep in the woods somewhere. Without a map. Try Aceves. Try Hughes. Try Coke. They might get bombed. Key word---might. Everyone knows rasner and Ponson WILL get bombed0

Melky is coming up tomorrow.I miss igotid880

Cashman was there watching with Rich Monteleone. If Aceves doesn't get Rasner's spot next start. Then I don't know what to think. Hughes is slated to pitch Game 4 of the AAA playoffs. That was an if-necessary start. But since Scranton lost today. Looks like he might stay down.I miss igotid880 -
yea that sucked...ran to a bar to watch the giants and yanks after kickoff at Columbus Circle.
We needed to sweep this series :( hope is now fading
at least the G-men got off to a good startAah, fuck it, I’m just gonna go home, turn on the fuckin’ TV...
Watch the nightly news and drink a beer...
Like I could even change the world, yeah right...

I can't stand Kay. Lorenz did a much better job broadcasting than Kay did. Kay speaks to hear the sound of his own voice, with his stupid SEE YA home run call. Blech.
A-Rod is the curse on the team. He will be, until he is gone.
And things are looking mighty bleak. Boston hasn't been losing, so even if we sweep Seattle (and Anaheim?) I dont know."...like a word misplaced, nothing said, what a waste.."

Doesnt look too good for our men in pinstripes.
Think they wouldve went down with more of a fight- especially since its the final saeason in the old house.
thank god the football season is underway, & hockey season is 1 week away from opening up camp. For the ones who had a notion, a notion deep inside

I hear ya. Definitely need some distractions from this frustrating baseball season. The hockey season can't start soon enough. Go Canes!
Rasner has to get yanked from the rotation. At this point I'd rather someone else get an audition and some experience. Hughes, Aceves, Wright, Giese, Coke.
As far as Joba goes, did they give a reason why he would probably start out in the bullpen next season? Is he still going to be on an innings pitched leash? I thought they were going to send him along with Hughes and Kennedy to pitch fall ball to get more innings.Brian0 -
Ian Kennedy took the loss in Game 2 of the IL playoffs last night. Good outing, no run support. 7 innings, 5 hits, 2 runs. The series is tied 1-1. Kei Igawa gets the start tonight. Bad weather is expected and there may be no game Saturday so Hughes might be a good call up to pitch for the Yanks Saturday. Of course that would mean replacing the stellar Sydney Ponson.Brian0

don't you get it yet? they're saving it all for the ninth, so they can lose by 1 or 2, with the go ahead run on second."Have you ever.........pooped a balloon?"
