    right now, i have no interest in discussing the yankees, the four-hour rain delay, or bob davidson's astonishing level of professionalism. but this gang merch thing is really interesting...

    wow. i didn't realize that this was their symbol. maybe i should have known. i work for a minor league basketball team whose team colors are black and gold and whose symbol is--you guessed it--a gold crown.

    anyone want to take a wild guess as to what our merch looks like?

    we even carry a black baseball cap with a gold embroidered crown, probably very similar to the one mentioned above. i didn't know. nobody did. i'd probably be really bent out of shape about this if i actually cared about my job. oh well...

    but the point is that these things happen. people aren't always as aware as they should be. personally, i always found it amusing that you could buy yankees and giants jerseys in bright red. the only people i ever see wearing these alternate jerseys are kids in brooklyn who also happen to be wearing matching hats and/or bandanas.

    bloods are scary as fuck. i see them all the time in brooklyn, but i've never been bothered. if you don't make eye contact, you should be fine. also, there are certain parts of brooklyn were you might want to consider avoiding the 2, 3, 5, E, and G trains after sunset.

    red=bloods
    blue=crips

    Doesn't anybody listen to SNOOP? :)

    It is scary though, I've seen this story all over. I don't 'believe' they had NO Idea what they were doing when they made them, the color combos and symbols are too much of a coincidence to me.

    Popcorn? Get a hot dog for God's sake! And I dont' think they have diet Pepsi, I think it's only Coke? But I could be wrong. The sodas are $4 a pop!

    Their No. 1 draft pick of last year. One of their many young arms in the minors that's doing well.

    oh! But is he ready for the majors after 1 year in the minors? In the middle of a pennant race?

    Were Joba Chamberlain and Phil Hughes? Actually Phil was in the minors a little longer. But he's still 21 like Joba. Joba just got out of college last year.
