I don't like the weather which really sucks.
Otherwise, this period's ok for me.
I like asking for gifts :D

    Not really.
No one I know gives me the "I want this" routine because I don't know any adolescents anymore. It's more the crowds and impatient/rude sobs you have to deal with while going anywhere.
I'll agree with stinky weather. It is pretty shitty till it snows, then it is acceptable ;)

And shouldn't you be used to tourists in NYC at all times of the year?

And I mean "I want this" in the uptight over gifts sense. I welcome hints and ideas cause everyone knows I'll be getting stuff anyway.
  • I think I'm really lucky in the gift department. I only exchange with my immediate family and we're all pretty much laid back about it. We all pretty much realize that if want something, it probably doesn't matter if we buy it on dec 25 or any other day of the year. I just take one day and try to find some stuff my parents and my brother will like, watch out for sales, and that's about it.

its just everybody starts busting chops about getting things related to xmas done quickly,,i mean chill out
    its so materialistic
as for the tourists they're extra annoying this time of the year because they all have 30 bags with them

I am with you! I would be happy to skip November - March...I try to make the most of the season, but I just don't care for it...maybe if I had kids I would get more into the 'spirit' of things....Come on Springtime!!!

exactly, it's like it's a holiday, it supposed to be fun. it's not supposed to be some chore that you need to get over with.
  • I enjoy it, but I don't feel any pressure to buy christmas gifts until I'm ready. My life is complicated enough as it is.

The weather has been freezing. That's the only thing detestable about the season. Several times I have NEARLY become ill. Fingers crossed I can continue to avoid flu till the end of the year.

Question completely unrelated to the topic....what's an average poster framing price?

those are the first I'm making. But the framer told me it would be around € 120 for each..

actually i just remebered this from sat night

she had been hinting at a particular watch from wed night ,,nothing expensive 95 bucks
everynight everynight ..the book on the table,,the whole nine yards
finally on sat night she says it again and im like" here's my card just order the (insert bad word here)watch" lol
i totally forgot about that until just now

    1 less gift to buy
  • i hate the gift bullshit

as well as the fact that you spend hours prepping for a meal that ends in 30 minutes

i wish more people saw it my way... just another day off
