Conversely, I saw my first live NFL game last year and I can't believe how much better it is on TV than it is live. The crowd was awesome, the game was good (A.P. had 296 yards and there was a missed field goal returned 109 yards for a TD) but the game was the shits to watch from the stands.
I would go to 1000 MLB games before I go to another NFL game.
Yeah, NFL games live are a little eh. If I had tickets to the Super Bowl I would sell them even if my team was in it. College football on the other hand is very exciting live. College crowds beat the hell out of NFL crowds.

een watching Yankees and baseball since 1980, ben watching Hockey and the Rangers since I was born. Got into the Giants when the Bears won the Super bowl and the Knicks when Ewing got drafted. Been to the games, watched them on tv and played all 4 sports and it goes like this as far as excitement all around
Hockey cause its just non stop and if you wanna talk thinking mans game go to a few practices or watch the mental preparation these people have to put in
Football tied or a close second and only because of the stoppages and no the long ass vid replays. Also its only 16-20 games long depending on if your team makes it all the way. But at the same time a short season like that always leaves me wanting more NFL games
NBA and thats been tarnished for me simply cause of the thuggery ann the players not giving 100% anymore and its so evident. Theyd rather smoke a blunt, go out to clubs like in miami beach and party all nite and yes I know this cause Shaq, D Wayde and all these guys used to run up in the clubs I worked on the daily and leaving FUCKED up a lot of nites. Oh and spend millions on chains that Slick Rick would prolly hate on
and lastly MLB cause I mean seriously..160 something games??? How can anyones attention span stay drawn to each and every game??? You just need to stay close and get hot like the Phillies did or the Yanks do every yr. In the pther sports like Hockey every game is important from the get go..dont go in a 10 game losing streak cause youre pretty much done..no playoffs. NFL every game..critical.nba not so much but almost to the extent of NHL

Baseball in person is great. I dont watch it a whole lot on television unless I am at work but it is still better than 98% of what is on television.
Absolutely....and the only thing that hinders it on TV are the endless commercials and the bozo (e.g. Tim McCarver) announcers. FOX fucks up everything they do, and baseball is no exception.
Baseball is the best sport. No endless timeouts like the NBA, no two minute drill like the NFL - it ain't over til the fat lady sings. Fewer thugs, too. I've been to a couple of pennant clinching games and they were intense. I LOVE BASEBALL!!!!!!!!!!!
