I don't know anyone that would show up to a drug test with someone else's pee if they were only worried about a prescription they were taking.

She knew she would've failed, hence the ol' switcheroo attempt.

I'm sorry, but this whole thing just cracks me up. It sounds like something a sixth-grader would do but then again the concept of taking drugs in the first place is pretty middle-school so I guess it all makes sense.

This just reaffirms my feelings that every employer should test everyone once a week if they could realistically do so.
YOu can't judge a persons work performance on their piss! Lots of people smoke a bit of pot on the weekend after a long day at the office. The doctor will be calling me today.
You sound very gestapo, just what this country needs..more policing...now a piss police!
I knew all the rules, but the rules did not know me...GUARANTEED!

Oh you can't be serious. An employer has every right to make sure that their employees are drug-free. Where do you draw the line? Just because you may only smoke pot on the weekend, someone else may do it every day before they go to work.

It's a necessary evil because you can't discriminate and say one is ok and the other isn't.

I'd hope that people realise that people who own successful businesses need to take great care of them. They treat them like one of thier children. They rely on thier business, their families rely on thier business. Running your own business is a huge risk in itself!

Why would they take a chance by hiring someone who is at a higher risk of missing work or having an accident or having lower performance?...let alone hiring someone who would commit fraud. It's not about labeling people...or policing people....it's about eliminating risk. If alcohol were illegal, they'd test for that too, many employers wish they could.

Since the risk is equal between all people with things that are legal, they must eliminate people who are at an even higher risk. That's why they conduct interviews, to get to know you.

but marijuana shouldn't be illegal..... :rolls eyes:
That's up for debate. But while it is illegal you have to realize that putting you and your family's financial security at risk just so you can get stoned is a sign of addiction.

If I had a job that tested for alcohol, for me to then use alcohol knowing it could cost me my job would be a sign of addiction. When a person can't make looking after their family amd themselves first, that person has a problem.

Get over the self-righteousness. If you want to work for a drug free company then be drug free. If not you are entirely free to set up your own competing company and you can hire every stoner friend you have. Sounds like there are a lot of great stoned people not getting jobs they are qualified for, you should be able to attract great talent.
