Until now, anti-Americanism has been exaggerated and much misunderstood. Outside a leftist hardcore, it has mostly been anti-Bushism, opposition to this specific administration. But if McCain wins in November, that might well change. Suddenly Europeans and others will conclude that their dispute is with not only one ruling clique, but Americans themselves. For it will have been the American people, not the politicians, who will have passed up a chance for a fresh start, and whether we like it or not, a fresh start the world is yearning for.

This thread proves that the OP and most of you in here have no idea what McCain stands for or who he is. Very sad. "Lets vote for the popular guy because he looks good and speaks well. He says change so hey thats for me".
Please people. At least understand what McCain is all about and what he believes in.

    Bunch of lambs.
    Excuse me?

I know exactly what my candidate stands for. I'm a Kucinich supporter but i have already voted Obama this election. I have been ouotspoken for months over why i am offering my support to him.
I am so sick of the fuckwits that come on here and post trolling things like you do to try and get a rise out of people. You criticize me, and yet are the person who made a thread back on the 30th of September saying you were undecided who to vote for.

I like McCain but Palin scares me to death.
I Kinda like Obama but I don't like a lot of what his party stands for.
I believe Obama really wants to make huge difference in office but I just can't get around his party.
I would be for McCain totally until Palin came along. That was a stupid choice and that make me rethink his decision making.

I have never been into politics until the past two years and I don't know much detail about any of it. But, this is how I feel from what I have read.

    Anyone else still undecided?

    Yeah.

    Loser.

I dont really care that most people supported the war on Afghanistan. universal truth is not measured in mass appeal.

I know many people died on 9/11, that does not mean you go invade another country with only revenge on your mind. Americans did not even wonder why they got attacked.

You even admit about the little questioning. Is that not a big problem to you?

Another thing, yes Bush and co lied to the American people, but why did the Americans not find any info out for themselves? Did you fall for the Iraq war story? I didnt.

Most of the world did not fall for it. It was obvioulsy a bad idea. It's just an excuse "They lied to us"
wow, you're all over the place but i'll try to address everything you wrote. . .first i'd like to know what universal truth is, please enlighten me. . .the attackers motives were secondary in importance to bringing them to justice i would say. . .do you not understand that that was an act of war on our country. . .ultimately no one cares why they did it, they needed to be brought to justice for there actions, plane and simple. . .im not sure what to say about your other point. . .i guess cause im not carmen santiago and i don't get to travel the world regularly to investigate these things so i really on various media outlets for my information? i was never really sure about their story, and im sure alot of other people didnt as well. . .but we arent the policy makers of our country. . .you are supposed to be able to trust the leaders of your country to do the right thing and when its discovered they don't people will cry foul
i have wished for so long, how i wish for you today

WELL, we like Saudi Arabia they are our friends besides we're America and WE can attack any country we want. Just as long as the American citizens will buy it AND most of us usually do or you'll be just considered UNPATRIOTIC.

    I NEVER bought it.

neither did I. And I believe there is a very strong case to be made that even the invasion of Afghanstan was a serious crime.
