no. it didn't...i was able to post the info at another site that reaches many of that particular group's membership...i did email the admin to question why, but have not heard anything yet...maybe i need to make another attempt.
but as far as the content of this thread is concerned..
perhaps the service "person" is a member of such a "supremist" order.....
most business try to remain neutral and even if this person was a part of an organization, it would be silly to refuse revenue..it sounds to me like a person who displays narrow mindset...
simple as that...
but my question is moreso to the OP, why would you feel a need to paste your yard with slogans? you should just do what they say in those anti campaigns, say no....but bump to your for interjecting one of your own under those circumstances...sending visualization for protection for your family and space...(peace)
to theDecline: wouldn't it have been more productive to work on those cars and have a decent conversation? i mean, you could have made a difference and even possibly limited yourself from opportunity. we are all equal and our positions are moving constantly...if we stay in one space, we are essentially nowhere...have you changed since your days of being a mechanic?
i wouldn't call it being an ass, but i would call your position avant..all insanity:

It's hard to believe that parts of America STILL thinks and feels like this. I betcha that wouldn't happen if the majority in Montana was for Obama. It's the bully mentality hold your ground and be defiant love to come out there and hold down the fort.

Most of these Obama haters and McCain supporters are such fucking babies. Did you see the guy at the McCain rally who said "we never thought we'd be in this position."? I can't wait for Obama to get elected so they can cry some more. It's like they don't even want an election, in their mind their candidate is so superior. The other guy? Well he's just a terrorist with no experience who wants to tax and spend blah blah blah.
You should have told that guy to go fuck himself. If he works for a company I would call and report it that's seriously unprofessional.

Did I mention you specifically? No. I don't know how you feel about his race. I was referring to the ones who actually feel that way, and yes there are many that feel that way, and yes there are many who are voting for him only because of his race and i disagree with both. For everyone voting for him because he's black there's a racist who won't vote for him for the same reason. Happening on BOTH sides, I was just talking about the crowd who's upset that he's black and probably gonna become president.West Palm 2000 I & II/West Palm '03/Tampa '03/Kissimmee '04/Vic Theater '07/West Palm '08/Tampa '08/NYC MSG I & II '08/Philly Spectrum III & IV '09/Cleveland '10/Bristow '10/PJ20 I & II 2011/Pensacola '12/Pittsburgh '13/Denver '140 -

Right around 10am this contractor pulls up my drive and all the way up the drive he's looking at my election signs in my yard. So I go out to meet this guy at his truck, I've known him casually for over 20 years, and I give him my most friendly greeting and extend my hand for a handshake and I get nothing... Not even fine "how are you?"
He hardly spoke to me as I walked around showing him the damage...
Real fucking uncomfortable attitude the whole time.
So as he's leaving I ask him if he can get me the estimate by Wednesday so I can turn it in to the insurance company.
"Yep" was all he said as he got back into his truck and turned back around and refocused his attention on my Obama sign.
He gets about halfway down my drive when he turns around and comes back.
So I go back to see what he needed and he says
"you know that estimate you need?"
"yeah"
"get Barack Obama to do that for you"
and he just took off staring me down...
I promise I'm not making this shit up.
See what happened is you killed his fragile reality and it pissed him off. I wish we could have different opinions and still work together. I have a fitness center. I have an Obama sign in my yard in this small town. I know there are people who probably won't vote for him. Would I refuse to have them in my class? No. Would I talk politics with customers in general? No. People can have different opinions. What's next? That really is unbelievable. I can't understand people that have no tolerance for others. I'll bet you'll never use his services again! What poor advertising on top of just being a poor example of a human being. Of course his blood pressure may just do him in."I'd rather be with an animal." We're in the process of building a shed and a few days after we put out our Obama sign, we got a call from the town building inspector telling us that someone complained about the shed. They were asking if the shed was zoned properly and if it was so many feet from property lines and the road.
It is close, but it passed. I live in a rural Republican area, and I don't rule out the complaint due to the sign, which is one of the few around here.
This hatred had got to stop or else we're all fucked. We'll all just destroy ourselves with this election, rather than any thing good coming out of it, if it continues. I wonder how we look to other countries...they must see a bunch of raging lunatics on tv, and think that the citizens are losing their marbles, possible self-implode.0 -

The worst thing is ... by December 1st, I'd guess 90% of all the people that are acting like this will have COMPLETELY forgot about the election and be buried back in their own little lives.
I doubt it. if Obama wins the hate will just get worse...2000-10-28 San Bernardino

That is ridiculous.
But, I agree that all the signs everywhere are a bit of overkill. People will vote for whoever they choose, why do we all need to know who you're voting for? Do the million political stickers I see everyday bully me into voting for that person? No.
Also, we are all human. I don't like or dislike a person based on who they vote for. My best friend votes completely opposite of me. We don't talk politics. haha, maybe that's why we're still friends.
Every single person I work with, including my employers, are voting for the person I'm not voting for. I don't dare tell them because they would all hate me....I really screwed that up. I really Schruted it.0
