Now, now catch22. You know that "Roll Tide" doesn't refer to the Steelers!United Center (Chicago): 8/24/09

Rudy? Seriously? I missed his speech.
Did he mention Bernard kerik, and how Rudy appointed him to be Homeland Security Chief? the guy was in bed awith a mobster, who did major work on kerik's house for "free".
Did he mention how the NYPD were used as personal chauffers for his mistress?
Did he mention that his first marriage (first of 3) was to his first cousin. Seriously, he should have. That would have played well to the core constituency.
Did he mention that neither one of his kids speak to him, and at least one of them is an Obama supporter?
I could go on, but the baby is waking up, and I could be here all day0 -
John Gotti looked like a fine upstanding citizen next to Rudy, and he was a much better dresser, too.
Rudy also now drives a Porsche 911.0 -

ROLL TIDE and GO STEELERS!!!
Are you rooting for the State of Alabama... or the Crimson Tide of the college in Alabama? If the latter is true.. you must be a student there... right?Allen Fieldhouse, home of the 2008 NCAA men's Basketball Champions! Go Jayhawks!

Not true. He cleaned up crime in the city BIG TIME.I pledge to you a government that will not only work well, but wisely, its ability to act tempered by prudence, and its willingness to do good, balanced by the knowledge that government is never more dangerous than when our desire to have it help us blinds us to its great power to harm us.

9/11 gave giulani an incredible boost. His approval ratings were at about 50% before 9/11. Afterwards they reached around 79%. So before 9/11 people saw him as just an average politician. Nothing special. But after he was experiencing an a huge approval rating. But 9/11 had nothing to do with that?0 -
The ravings of a group of clowns...that's what I saw last night. The most condescending...arrogant...fear mongoring...Jesus screaming...self important bullshit that I have ever witnessed.
I saw a group of hypocrates spewing venomous lies...and mocking the democrats.
These people love to talk about morals...remember them attacking President Clinton about his affair? Hey Rudy...how's your mistress?...hey McCain... how is your ex-wife you cheated on repeatedly?...hey Palin...how are things at home with your underaged pregnant daughter?
Palin is a scary person if she truly believes half the shit she say's...we might be in big trouble if she gets to the "White House"."Had my eyes peeled both wide open, and I got a glimpse...of my innocense, got back my inner sence, baby got it...still got it"0 -

You're not Keith Olbermann are you? If not, then your post certainly resembles something that he would spew forth. What have I stated that makes you post that? I happen to feel uncomfortable with a major presidential candidate that closely associates himself with folks that harbor and promote terrorism - is that so wrong? Some very close northern friends of mine from Battle Creek, Michigan, and Berlin, Pennsylvania feel just as I do on that issue.United Center (Chicago): 8/24/09

while he was mayor when that happened, he just was smart enough to hire a very good commissioner in bill bratton. the rudy giuliani of september 10 was a very divisive mayor to most people in new york.Reading 2004

Try a 36% approval rating prior to 9/11."When one gets in bed with government, one must expect the diseases it spreads." - Ron Paul0 -

No, no. he's right. giuliani did have a 50 % approval rating at that time. In two seperate polls actually.
The first poll was taken by Quinnipiac. They polled Giuliani's 2 children. 1 approved, while the other did not. A more recent poll shows Giuliani has a 0% approval rating amongst his children.
The second poll was done by Zogby. they polled Giuliani's ex-wives. His more recent ex-wife strongly disapproved, citing the fact that he cheated on her openly, and even used the NYPD to chaffeur his mitress around. His 1 st ex-wife approved, saying she can't stay mad at family. Her father would be upset with her if she disapproved of his favorite nephew0
