I personally loved when Mitt Romney blamed the economic struggles we're facing on the liberal government. Are you fucking kidding me? These people think we're stupid.

My favorite part was when he criticized the DNC for not mentioning September 11th enough!! I laughed out loud.

you can't be serious! are you? i mean, i knew they would capitalize on it, but are they really that shameless?
    and like that... he's gone.

    I'm serious.

    Here's the text:

"For 4 days in Denver and for the past 18 months Democrats have been afraid to use the words "Islamic Terrorism." During their convention, the Democrats rarely mentioned the attacks of September 11.

They are in a state of denial about the threat that faces us now and in the future."

I guess the point was, knowing that Rudy 9/11 was going to speak you, I and everyone knew he'd reference 9/11 OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

Yeah...it's just that he took it to a whole new weird level...one that is worth being incredulous about, lol.

you need to watch this movie.

I dunno. The way I see it is that if Bush doesn't care about him, why should I?
  • I love how he talks about the Dems being afraid of saying the words "Islamic Terrorism"

"For -- for four days in Denver, the Democrats were afraid to use the words "Islamic terrorism."

    (AUDIENCE BOOS)

I imagine they believe it is politically incorrect to say it. I think they believe it will insult someone. Please tell me, who are they insulting if they say "Islamic terrorism"? They are insulting terrorists."

HaHaHaHa! :D Priceless. What an idiot.

I read the text but, that's the offical release, he adlib'ed a line that was someting like "stating someone is an Islamic Terrorist is an insult to Terrorists".

I thought that was pretty disgusting. Need to find this on youtube

wow. that is bad. reminds me of this summer when i heard a speech from an fbi counter-intel guy who said something along the lines of "i'm not saying islam is evil. there are plenty of great muslims in this city driving taxi cabs and running 7-11s." and he wasn't joking, he was dead serious, like it was a hugely open-minded and tolerant compliment for him to make.

Maybe he means it's an insult because the Democrats aren't recognizing the religion these people associate themselves with?

The worst part is that people like Bamapjfan believe every word of that shit. I'm so disgusted with the politics and election process in this country. I would suggest starting a movement to boycott the elections but I'm afraid that there are too many stupid fucking people in this country that would still vote for one of these assholes.

I just wanted to wake you liberals up a little bit - this board is way too far left. I'm not a republican; I'll be voting for more democrats on my ballot this November than republicans, most notably for Bobby Bright, the democratic candidate for the District 2 congressional seat in Alabama.

So did I. That had to be one the WORST speeches in American political history. What a self-absorbed, opportunistic douchebag.

Let's review some of his "speech".
The Democratic Party had given up on Iraq.
And I believe, ladies and gentlemen, when they gave up on Iraq, they had given up on America.
Speaks for itself. Inane, tired rhetoric that most Republicans had abandoned long ago.
    Rudy wrote:
When speaking to a pro-Israeli group, Obama favored an undivided Jerusalem, like I favor and like John McCain favored. Well, he favored an undivided Jerusalem -- don't get too excited -- for one day, until he changed his mind.
Hmm, I bet McCain has NEVER changed his mind.
    Rudy wrote:
When Russia rolled over Georgia, John McCain immediately established a very strong, informed position that let the world know how he'll respond as president at exactly the right time. Remember his words? Remember what John McCain said? "We are all Georgians."
I loved this part. Nobody in the audience seemed to care about this, but that didn't deter him from somehow making it an issue. I don't think the Georgian issue is high on the list of issues for American voters.
    Rudy wrote:

Oh, wow! Well, then she has my vote! Anybody who shakes up Alaska must be a maverick!
