a lot of ppl like to just shuffle papers around and mumble instead of working at fixing problems over many subjects
In my view, it's because people aspire to mediocrity. (ok...I 'borrowed' my view from Abraham Maslow....) They've compromised their ideals long ago, and therefore have compromised their ability to create with greatness or from empowerment.
The ability to create our dreams, our potential, and with greatness comes from living from our ideals, not from compromising them. Most have so compromised their ideals that they think mediocrity is all there is. And then they justify that, further reinforcing the mediocrity. It's then obvious to them that the mediocrity comes from without, because it's all they see around them. They don't realize that what they see is determined by the lens they look through. And that sweeping change occurs in each choice. People have no idea of their power, even as they live with the consequences of what they create each day.

But not all Muslims are brown-skinned guys from the middle east. Like I said considering how big the Muslim world I don't really think it would be difficult for Al-Quada to find guys who have a different skin colour than Bin-Laden. They were based in Sudan before they moved to Afghanistan. The biggest Muslim country in the world (population wise) is Indonesia. You don't think they could find a black guy or an East-Asian looking guy who shares their beliefs? If my enemy told me they were only looking for people of a certain skin colour or origin, I would damn sure find people to work for me that don't fit that profile.
I am not talking about being politically correct I am talking about being lazy when it comes to doing intelligence work. To use an extreme example would you rather an airport security guard give extra special attention to the Arabic looking guy who is calm and doesn't seem to be a risk just because of his skin colour or the black guy who is sweating and is wearing a funny looking vest?

i'm sure they don't want their kids picking unexploded cluster bomb munitions

Muslims love god and are normal people.
What you're thinking of is terrorists (only they love god too).
You're using the words muslim and terrorist interchangeably, and that says something.
I don't want to be chopped up into little pieces by a serial killer. According to the the FBI 85% of the world's serial killers are in the United States. There are up to 50 active unidentified serial killers at work at any given time. The profile of a serial killer is a white male between 25 and 40.

No I'm a white male & have known a lot of white males in my life... I don't want to kill anything unless it's a group of muslims that are trying to blow my skin open to the sky with liquid nitrogen.
I don't want a bunch of muslims coming to my country & lighting all my animals on fire just because they hate God or Jesus or whatever - it's stupid to want things blown apart, they aren't Napolean.

Yeah... and someone else posted your pictures in the picture thread.
I don't say I believe this is what people in charge will do at all. Frankly, I'm alarmed at how human beings perpetuate their problems and blame others for it. I see this as being because people attach to ideologies, rather than understand and respond to what actually happens.
When it comes down to each choice, people will choose emotional arguments or reason. And will also choose to play out the consequences of such choice.
The solution will not magically appear. It's up to each of us to rise to the occasion and bring our top ideals to the table. As long as we continue with complacency, poor judgment, excuses, and expect the immaculate image of a leader to save us, we're perpetuating the illusions and will continue to live in the darkness.
hint: there is no leader to save us from ourselves.
everytime I read your posts I am so impressed that you truly have a grip on the things you speak of. I would like to think I do, but the truth is, I am more run by emotions than thoughts. And while I have thoughts, they are usually derived from some emotional crap first. so that said,.....
I agree with you when you say that we there is no one to save us from our own ways. And you are right, a lot of the time most people like to blame someone else for the problems in the world, or our country, or even our own lives when we do make choices at times that do not give us the results we want. I think while we can look at the powers that be and say that we agree or disagree with them, we would serve our causes better to find the person who represents our own state, as well as those who are petiitioning for the things that we would like to see happen or stop happening and write to them to find out what we can do to get our name on the petition or in a letter that will count as one more who wants to change things for the better as we see it.

that doesn't mean that some of those opinions aren't foolish.
No, but that's what makes all of the talk about these things interesting. I start out thinking one way and then someone comes up here and says intelligently what they think and then I say, "I never thought about it that way." This way I grow.

Thanks. My perceptions always hinge on emotions first, too. I make sure I own my emotions and feel them. I also give them a name, because that way I run them through linear/logical brain centres, which means I integrate them. Then I let them go and await higher awareness. This process is always followed by receiving wisdom and insights beyond what I normally see as my own view, on the subject in question. Sometimes it takes an hour, sometimes a day. There is nothing like perceiving holistically and realistically. And this method is backed up by brain science. The bottom line to this is that I always value and feel all my emotions, even "bad" ones. I just don't fool myself into thinking my emotions, upsets, or anger are about others, because they are not. Therefore, I don't give myself license to project them onto others.
Letting go of my small-minded ego-based perceptions, after owning them, and surrendering to the encompassing awareness of intuition beyond is attuning to my birthright awareness and power.

You made a lot of good points Angelica, Id like to point out the fact that not only are they detained in airport vessles for months at a time - but even their own children aren't allowed to see them for cumbersome stretches. If we're to live amongst one another & with each other amongst ourselves, we need to start treating Muslims with proper placement in the line of dignity - I won't draw in the sand if they cross it.

I am amazed once more that when I read others' posts, I often see things I didn't see before. This is the case here.
I was convinced that this is ok. And in cases when logic points to the guilt of someone, then I don't care what color you are, you did it, deal with it.
But then someone told me here that the reason we are 'fucked with" is that we are in a position that we often do not respect others and so we are often hated here in America. Now,that said, I will say that on 9/11 all those who died in the World Trade Center were also innocent people that the Iraqi's should not have targeted. They did nothing to deserve this. And our fine soldiers who enlisted for causes such as these, were very brave to fight for this cause.
But we can't say that we are angered by the WorldTrade Center bombing by Osama Bin Laden and his terrorists and yet then go and kill the very people that are also endangered by the terrorism in their own country of Iraq.
What happened to the point that we were helping them? Is there not one who will say that we are doing that?

I agree with many points you made. I have to live amongst Muslims in everyday society, yes - even in the USA.
When I go to college I get chills every time I see a Muslim - about every 30 minutes or so, if there's just one Muslim in my class & I look at them once every 30 minutes & get chills. It's not them slaying dogs that annoys me... Alaska has sled dogs & that doesn't annoy me either. I don't really like their fashion sense though in this country.
I just think if someone is gonna come to this country they shouldn't do crap that represents another country, like wearing a hat or a kilt - whatever the name of that thing is Muslims have on their head, a Burka? But I agree with you that they CAN be dangerous.

National security isn't like one of your golfing buddies that you can jab in the side with a sharp pen "playfully". We have 50 states in the United States of America & every one of them is worth stating an emergency for incase one were to happen. For example, you don't see a bunch of Muslims doing terroists attacks on everything in this country now that we tell them how to dress. Most of them dress the same as they always did, but that's only because we tell them it's okay. This is the USA & freedom comes first - but freedom isn't free.

so you'd be ok with a christian blowing you up or an athiest?
I can assure you that not every bomb in history was set off by a muslim... it's probably only a tiny percentage. I'm also pretty sure that they don't want to be blown to shreds apart by an American cluster bomb... although I could be wrong there

Don't worry about it, I'm smart & own so many books. On second thought, forget it all together. I am serious about Muslims - they DO go to my college & they look just how they look in horror movies.

Friendly word of advice. When you are dazzling all those girls with your awesomeness, make sure to use protection ok. One of you is enough.
I won't be replying to your ridiculous comments anymore. So save it.
I refuse to be harassed by you sexually or verbally.
And no, one of me isn't enough. I plan on having 10 or so kids someday & raising them with my same ideals.

I can assure you that not every bomb in history was set off by a muslim... it's probably only a tiny percentage. I'm also pretty sure that they don't want to be blown to shreds apart by an American cluster bomb... although I could be wrong there
